on the question of: "Is open carry dumb?"
Well God's Babies (all of mankind), the questions are... what is the value of a person who willfully volunteers to go on point, and what is the value of valuing that person?
Some things in life are counterintuitive, such as .. entire nations have been industrially, and economically, destroyed by a philosophy that was meant to save their industrial and economic potential.. in that case it was a philosophy called utilitarianism. It seemed very logical to save as much of the nation's resources and energy as possible by making only the wisest use of every last thing in the name of utilitarianism, but in actual practice, said philosophy very quickly ruined the industrial and economic potential of several, once powerful, nations. The phenomenon is due to the fact that almost all industry exists to serve the Human nesting, or home making, tendency... and.. when a government mandates that all people shall have only a small "minimalistic" bathroom and kitchen, it ends up substantially reducing many many seemingly unrelated industries, and their potential to reinvest in further research and development.
So it may be fairly accurately said, that one of, if not the biggest, lesson learned (or that should have been learned) in the industrial revolution of the 20th Century was that: ensuring the common person has a home, and the ability to affordably invest in the personalization of his or her nest, has proven to be the most substantial driver and provisioner of any nation's industrial and economic potential; outside of examples of forced innovation made necessary in times of war.
When considering the value of a statement that seems quite clearly logically sound, it is pretty much always very much extra important to take a deep breath, and very carefully try to look at it from all angles and all perspectives ... as ... the temptation to act very swiftly in error ,with great conviction, almost exclusively occurs when a person sees what seems to be a very clearly true and accurate thing, without seeing the rest of the truth in relation to it, and often times the rest of the Truth can only be seen from a different angle or perspective.
It was completely counter intuitive that the philosophy of utilitarianism would actually cripple nations instead of making them run far more smoothly; but that is, far beyond a shadow of a doubt, what is.
I was once criticized by a man whom I respected, when I told him that I normally open carried; he was a combat vet and, from that experience, was vehement about the importance of the tactical advantage of not making yourself, as a protector, the immediate target of a mass killer and thereby rendering the people you are protecting without defense; because you had been killed before you ever had a chance to respond. I sometimes regret not having taken the time to tell him that I had thought about that part of the problem, and why I had chosen to open carry; and why I had placed as much value on it that I had.
In deep consideration of what has caused the recent much increase in the number of young people driven to madness and caused to become mass killers, I have found that psychological abuse, in the form of persuasive psychology, committed by various media organizations in the name of forcing the people to respond in a way that would produce a number of changes desired by the financers of said media, exhibited the use of a similar tactic.
The common thread, the common tactic being used against the people of The United States of America, and coming from both sides of what was made to seem as two apposed sides, was the temptation to fail to respect the use of one's civil liberties (particularly access to the courts) in order to safely and truly correct problems, and accompanied with the temptation to blame the existence of the civil liberties for the loss of any hope for the future of the nation. In this way, psychology is used to both remove the people from any benefit that the law gives them to protect self and others from predatory leadership choices, and causes the people to blame each other for the losses caused by predatory (cannibalistic) leadership; all the while making it seem as if said Cannibalistic leadership had the people's interest at heart, thereby redundantly removing any potential for backlash which may occur as the product of very poor leadership choices.
Most Human beings, by nature, have an actual need to be able to perceive both the benefit of, and hope for the continuance of, the benefits of their contribution to the community. This natural phenomenon has to do with the pubescent need to perceive self as ready to nest and make a family... "ready to sit at the adult table". Almost all Children, start out with a basic need to be seen as a competent adult, and a very deep need to have the ability to have faith that their contribution to the future will pay off with an existence of at least a reasonable measure of stability and happiness.
When people perceive challenges in life, at minimum it is accompanied with a subconscious lamentation of the perceived loss of energy, time, and money, that will be required to rise to said challenge; so there is by nature of the organism a latent psychiatric predisposition to want to remove oneself from being required to lose time, energy, and money due to being required to rise to challenges that seem to big, or excessively challenging to overcome. One of the greatest natural challenges that mankind has faced throughout the ages, is the temptation to say that since their nation is bad.. or that life sucks, or people are bad... they are right to not care. The phenomenon does not mean that a person is a bad person when they fall to said temptation, but that they are physically and mentally exhausted to the point of succombing to the temptation in order to perceive relief from the stresses of life's challenges; and so, in almost all cases from one day to the next you may see a person say that all people and life suck and so they are right to not care, but then get back up and argue with great conviction for the good of all people and life.
When psychology is used to tempt children, and or adults, to consistently see examples, and perceive worth in self as the product of showing examples of the common person, nation, or life itself as unworthy, said children and or adults may become measurably removed from potential to rise to life's challenges for extended periods of time; a sort of suspended animation. In our immediate era there were examples like the jerry springer show, and court shows, that seemed very entertaining, but habited the viewership on a daily basis to validating themselves as worthy, or smart, for saying they were wise to how much people and life sucked, how stupid they were apt to be, and how right one would be to say that the civil liberties provided by the law were not enough for him or her to make a difference; and so a substantial portion of the people of the nation were tempted ultimately to be lazy in their care for the nation, while being made to think they were wise, knowing, and in the right.
This psychological mechanism is very similar to those used in Christ's time, when the people were tempted to empower men who told them to judge their neighbors unworthy of life or prosperity in the name of betterment, allowed the leadership to rob their neighbors, destroy their communities, and then tempted the people to blame each other for it while perceiving self and the corrupt leadership, as the only ones there who really cared, and certainly wise, brave, and worthy of sitting at the adult table for their will to take on the liability of attacking their neighbors in the name of betterment. In that case of course Jesus was the example who proved to be the only one who really cared ... when he stopped the r**e of their communities and got them to see, and to walk (convinced them to get off their butts), and to work together again to make food.. by saying let he who has no sin cast the first stone.
The much increased rate of young people being driven mad and convinced to become mass killers in our time, is due to the fact that the pubescent nesting needs were denied indefinitely; these children grew up in a world where they were told there would not be social security for them, government constantly shutting down, politicians running away to prevent a vote... All of the child's life was an experience of elders lamenting decade after decade of back to back financial collapse caused by bad legislation done in the name of good.... companies were no longer offering or honoring retirement, or lasting long enough to give it... and the kids were told that they would be stupid for working hard and judged as bad people if they did not work hard. The kids were convinced that only sucker put in an honest day, and the nation was not worth caring about.. The homeless shelters are full of perfectly capable young people who are convinced that they must say they are autistic, much like the ADHD scam to sell pills, in order to get the financial benefits of disability, and so they cannot work. .... The Children were told that Humans were only animals and so were not special or more important than any other animal without regard for the nature of the ecology of al llfe..... The Children were told to say that life... was only "strata floating in space", survival of the fittest, a game, and a concrete jungle....... The Children of our time were convinced that the only way they could dream of having a good life was if they were a star, or a thief... and so were psychiatrically destroyed... radicalized.. and turned against anything they had that could actually salvage them and take care of the future of the nation / mankind.. ... they were turned against their rights and civil liberties, their families, communities, nation, and neighbors.... life itself.... and as a product of that.. a very small portion of them.. far more than ever before... were driven so mad that they became mass killers, while a much larger portion of them were driven to such depths of hopelessness that they committed su***de without becoming a mass killer.... and the balance of them... are still with us today, holding on to life the best they can see to do.
Because the Human organism is such that all thought and all evaluation is considered, or processed in relation to their perception of self, and natural first concern for self, when people are convinced to say that they are only a number, or life only strata floating in space... that the common person is not important etc.. .they are caused automatically to evaluate their choices, their options, and their potentials as worth less than they actually are; and again tempted to lay down or walk away from any perception of an obligation, or even a chance, to rise to the challenges of the care of the future of the community.
When looking at these things, I come to realize that the biggest problem is that the people have been convinced not to use the rights and abilities they have, and are trapped by it into an ever increasing, self feeding cycle of loss, and consequence, that further and further removes them of potential to actually try to find True Solutions to problems; instead of self validating as worthy, right, adult, or ready to nest as the product of very cheaply voicing support for a perception of a side that most often only minimally represents what said people can naturally see is needed to care for the future of the community.
I cannot say, that I am a much better man than anyone else on these matters, as I myself have not invested the energy to genuinely learn how the law works and make better use of my legal access to the courts; but what I try to do, is invest a substantial measure of my time writing messages similar to this one, using my free speech to try to convince people to see the value of being careful with their conviction and to seek true solutions to the problems we face instead of going along with being tempted to self validate for using catch phrases that divide or deceive the membership of the community in ways that allow it, and anything they could have loved in or about life, to be preyed upon by anything genuinely dumb enough to prey on it.
When it comes to the right to bare arms and my choice to open carry or not, I consider what the bible said about Jesus wanting to exchange swords for plows and get the people back to making food and loving life instead of warring against each other. In deep consideration of the topic, I find that... much like the topic of lusting after another man's wife... it is not the existence of another man's wife.... or a sword, or gun, that causes infidelity, but the will to misuse it; and so the True solution to end the problems we associate with the existence of swords, guns, other men's wives, or any other thing which may be turned into a weapon... is to raise a community that most truly values it's own existence, and it's contribution to all evermore....
This endeavor has been life long for me, as a child my family was forced to move to new places frequently in order for my father to serve in his industry, and i was convinced as a kid that it was important to protect the other kids. Each new school meant a new set of bullies for me to protect the other kids from, and I remember telling myself that it was important for me to make sure the girls did not think they did not have any boys who would not stand up to bullies.
In recent years as an adult, I tend to think it best to be an example of someone who respects and uses the rights that he has been given. By open carrying I willfully put myself at risk, and suffer the worries that anyone may try to disarm me, that I may not be treated fairly, and that I may be the first victim in the event I am targeted by a mass killer; but I do so in trade for the ability to tell myself, that with my one chance to be alive, I chose to make use of the right to reassure my neighbors, that they had at least one boy who may be able to be there to protect them if something goes bad.... it is to reaffirm ... . that men can be brave enough to exorcize their rights, even when the common legitimate conduct is to shun said rights, and leave everyone's babies prostrate before the will of madmen in leadership positions.. and even more madmen...the victims of their psychological abuse.
So... as stated at the outset of this writing .... i repeat.... the questions.. at least to me...... are....... what is the value of a man who willfully puts himself on point?...... ... .and ...... what is the value of valuing that man for it. I may not live the longest, i certainly will not die a rich man.... .. but I will not die a man who knew better and still let the girls think they had no boys who would stand up for them.
I personally believe everyone should be armed at all times, ammunition should be affordable and abundant.. everyone should be well trained in fi****ms safety... and everyone should invest a substantial measure of his or her life actively working to make sure the kids can believe in each other, in us, in joyfully working to serve the future of all. I do not believe that laws that end free speech, or free press, or laws that disarm the people of a nation... can do... what only the people's genuine will to build a loving and caring, joyful society can do.
It appears to me, that laws that remove rights and civil liberty, are more apt to have the future of mankind squandered, by the desires of leaders lusting after the fruit of what seem so logical a thing in a fleeting moment.... such as utilitarianism.... and the loss of each person's potential to step up...if he or she sees a need..... to say something most True.. such as: "let he who has no sin cast the first stone"... even though he or she won't likely get paid for it, and in many cases may be hurt for it.
The Ultimate True Solution, for many of the problems facing mankind that seem logically insurmountable.. was first thought of a very long time ago.
written into the laws of physics ... lays a potential. Said potential is relative to the original observation which brought the word God into existence. The purpose of the creation of that word in order to increase the chances that the people of a society would have some legitimate right to protest the abuse of the members of the society, and thereby increase the chances for survival and prosperity.... by sighting that all living things are aimed at producing continuance of self, and each different living organism contributed to an ecology of all life, which ultimately facilitated the continuance of all life... so then that the desire of whatever it was that created all life, and all of creation, is self evident to be the production of everlasting life... and so tolerating abusive or poor leaders, was to be legitimately considered against the will of the creator, and the people therefor right, and naturally obligated, to correct such conduct.
Though no one can genuinely verity the time or place of the first creation and use of the concept, or word, God in order to label that which is responsible for all things and the fashion in which all things relate, it is clear that in most, if not all, cultures the existence of that concept, for that purpose, has been passed down throughout the history of the culture and ultimately throughout the history of the species; with each culture assigning to the word God names, and in some cases choosing to claim a number of Gods with a number of different names were responsible for it all.
At some point, an individual or number of individuals observed that, no matter what anyone said the name of God was... all peoples genuinely worshiped the same thing. The Record of this that I am aware of is presented in Saint John's Revelation in the King James bible. The observation was likely written as a combination of symbolism and mystery for a number of reasons, but chiefly due to the fact that the author and publisher (in this case effectively Saint John and King James) would likely be killed if it were written plainly and clearly.. very much for the same reasons that Jesus was killed. It was observed that, Christ would know the True name of God, a name not chosen by mankind, but by God himself and put into the foreheads of all peoples.
There exists a condition produced by the laws of physics that is such that if a person chooses to cause injury, injury will be caused; and though injury may be caused even when a person does not willfully aim to cause it, in the event that a human being willfully invests his or her energy for the purpose of causing injury, some form of injury will very likely be caused, and in most cases many forms of injury ranging from the actual desired result to the poor habituation of the minds of the individual, and those who admire him, being made more and more dependent on getting what he or she thinks they need, as the product of causing injury which itself represents a number of additional losses which may not readily be comprehensively accounted for.
Similar to said condition produced by the laws of physics, there is another potential... and that potential... is the key to saying the name God chose for Himself, and put into the foreheads of all peoples, as Christ.
No matter what anyone thinks the word God means, and no matter what anyone says the name of God is, or what they claim to worship... all peoples genuinely worship what they perceive as The Truth that will allow them to continue. For example, the one who says God is love... worships The Truth of the power of love, the one who says he or she worships the power of money, or brutality, genuinely worships what they believe is The Truth of the power of money or brutality. In most cases people say they worship a name ascribed to the word God and relative to a great body of teachings representing many Truths that will increase the chances they will be able to continue to exist and to prosper... . but in every single case...... .by God's hand... correctly defined as the will of that which created the laws of physics, the creator of and origin of all things and the fashion in which all things relate........ they factually worship... The Truth.
In order to say God's name as Christ..... you must say The Truth of any matter.... the same way that you would have your child speak your name... such as to bring only good into existence from all angles...absolutely no loss in any way, only good.
This is that other similar potential caused by the laws of physics which determines the product of will to cause injury; but this time, it is an observation of the several changes that take place when a person willfully and genuinely aims to do, or say, something to produce only good.
The Human mind is such that, not only is it blinded when it is ruled by it's desire for the wage of dishonesty or malice, it is also greatly enlightened when it has genuine desire to bring only good. This personal enlightenment comes from the will to criticize the accuracy of the outcome of an action comprehensively, in order to verify the sum Good brought about by that genuine will.
In religious or "spiritual terms" one may say, very accurately, that the will to genuinely aid in the production of everlasting life, most Truly, by seeking to find the words to say The Truth of any matter in a way that only breathes blessing onto the earth from all angles, causes God to smile on you as his child the same as you would smile on your child for trying to say your name in such a way. Additionally, it may be said that it is nearly impossible to say The Truth of anything such that it may not be weaponized, or may not in some way badly habit or tempt others, but due to God's craftsmanship in the fashion in which the Human mind processes thought when attempting such a thing, there exists tremendous potential that having warmed God's heart his smile upon you will be that in your own criticism of your failures you will be blessed with tremendous deeper insights into both the nature of the problem you are attempting to address, and many other things previously left unconsidered, but certainly exist in relation to it. And so it is, that the power of sight possessed by those who have the will of Christ genuinely.. is biomechanically guaranteed to be apt to be profoundly greater than those who are removed from it, by being blinded by the desire of a cheap and easy wage to be had from trickery, deception, or brutality.
It is by this that you may know you have spoken God's chosen name The Truth as Christ when only Good is breathed into existence, at this time all peoples will be readily in agreement with it, and every knee will bow; but you are to be mindful of the fact that some knees may not yet be accounted for, and there will always be some potential for error in the evaluation of even entire civilizations.
That Said, The Solution to most of the problems facing mankind which naturally seem insurmountable, such as the truth of the fact that biometrics cannot genuinely guarantee that there will never be identity theft, or such that a corrupt judge may find a good person guilty no matter what evidence is put forth.. and similar.... is the topic of Christ and his saying of God's chosen name.
One may be tempted to observe that some of those who are ruled by their desire for the wage of deception or brutality may be blinded by carelessness, but are so desirous, and so intelligent that they still have the will to seek knowledge of any holes in their perception.. Similarly one may observe that the consequences of personal suffering experience by those who seek to produce true solutions, instead of selling out, are such that even though they see more, they have not the strength or finances to do anything with it. In consideration for these common observations I will provide the following necessary information.
Due to the fashion in which the law of physics have guided the natural course of human history we, in most nations, are habited to calling an enlightened woman a lady, it is a very important observation, the potential and value that a Lady brings to the family and community; but we reserve the word Lord for Christ, and men are not called Lords even when proven to be most valuable. In Truth the word Prophecy as used to describe Saint John's revelation is an observation of an ever evolving and ever sharpening condition of not only men, and not only Christian men, but all of mankind.
Though warnings such as: Anti Christ will be perceived as most beautiful, and speaking all languages, applies in this case to the liability of the churches themselves becoming distorted such that they are perceived as most worthy due to their representation of love or a greater good, regardless of tempting mankind to be ruled by lust for the perceived benefit of judging in Christ's name or forcing the death of any individual who is as Christ and stands up to the leadership as Jesus did.. are profoundly important warnings that may in fact save all of mankind and all of creation.... this and similar observations genuinely apply physically even if there is no longer any christian church at all.. and in Truth more so if there is no knowledge of Jesus or his story remaining in existence at that time of eventual disaster.... .. most of the labels, names, numbers etc... in the mysterious and symbolic prophecy of Saint John's revelation can very likely be said to have been happening since the beginning of mankind, are still happening today, and will at minimum continue to represent potentials of liability in the distant future even if no one in that time accurately perceives what the writer was genuinely intending to write about in the initial writing of the prophecy.... such as the number of heads on a dragon.. or the color of stones surrounding heaven and what they stood for. The inclusion of secret societies and claims to know the deepest truths of history, which books were accurate and which books were not... only compounds this liability, but thankfully is of very little importance as........ . the actual physics of the word God and the word Christ... are in fact quite literally far above all of mankind's religions, traditions, and ways... very much including the bible itself.
The following will show what Saint John meant when he said There will be no light in that place, nor will it be needed.... .as The Lord will provide it.. and that all will serve The Lord joyfully.
Regardless of what genuine Choice the creator had in the matter, God made it such that we are both mortal and that new born children must re learn, and re evaluate, all of the previous evaluations of those who came before..... . . by making it this way... in a circumstance where God's creation would be required to use it's senses to evaluate the physical world, and it's choices, in order to produce continuance ... the fate of all life and all of creation cannot be trapped into failure due to being mislead by the poor evaluations or inaccurate perceptions of Immortal leaders......... no matter how good or bad any peoples evaluations, and perceptions, of the nature of nature are, each generation dies, and the next generation is caused to reconsider everything..... creating a circumstance where the quality of the many evaluations of all things to consider in life, continuously increases a little at a time... over an unimaginably long period of time.....
The nature of this natural condition is such that due to the laws of physics one of two things are physically guaranteed to eventually occur. Either all life will serve to produce a circumstance so that The Human and it's technology can produce eternal continuance for the body of all of creation (the cosmos) and thereby potential for joyful everlasting life...... .or the sum biomechanism of life, most importantly The Human, will eat itself out of existence prior to developing the technological ability and knowledge necessary to produce that at which all life is aimed (Everlasting life for both life, and the body in which it exists, perceived as non living matter.)
It is important to note that, the purpose cannot be served with an emphasis only on life, due to the fact that life was made such that very little nutrition is taken directly from matter that had not recently existed as living matter, this natural requirement of getting sustenance from matter that had recently been living matter serves as a control, limiting the rate of conversion of non living matter into living matter... and may be seen as evidence that living matter was not created akin to a cancer to destroy nonliving matter, but as the provisioner of eternal continuance for the body we perceive as non living matter (the care taker of all of creation). This is also evidence of there not being considered a moral inequity on God's part when life was made such that we would both: be caused to consume other animals and living things, and were also made such as to perceive a clear and necessary benefit in the teaching of the respectful and ethical treatment of animals we consume, humane killing, humane treatment, proper care and animal husbandry creates a far more stable and healthy food supply, and habits mankind to respect for the ethical care of people at minimum the same.
The stated considerations serve as necessary parameters for the true evaluation of the word Good, the purpose of all life, and the form of the eventual evolution or sum maturation of the species we call The Human being. Due to those parameters, the laws of physics and the biomechanism of the human mind and body in relation to the rest of the physical world, it appears to be fairly clear to me that... in time.. as Mankind is made aware of the physics behind how to say God's chosen name as Christ, each individual person will in some measure (ever increasingly over generations) be more and more apt to successfully say words such as to only breathe true solutions and blessings onto all evermore... each one..... will naturally evolve such that they all are both The Lord and joyfully serving The Lord in all others.
In that time... as Saint John observed... there will be no need for locks on doors.... ...... . they will have the ability to make weapons far more potent than we can imagine.. but will not have the desire to use them even if they have them... they will mature into the caretaker of all of creation.... potentially learning how to birth new galaxies.... how and why energy moves in relation to all of the cosmos and what we need to do to ensure it continues healthily so that we also may continue. .... it should be noted that AI and similar technology is bound by the same natural laws, if any artificial intelligence is not programmed to serve to produce joyful eternal continuance for all of creation than it too will cease to exist when the body we know as "the cosmos" eventually dies or falls into poor health. If the Artificial intelligence is made to serve to produce eternal continuance for all of creation without regard for the joy of the human being.. than it as a derivative and far less advance mechanism will most likely result in failure to ultimately serve to produce eternal continuance for the body in which we exist.. and will similarly cease to exist.
Though Saint John and the Founding Fathers of The United States of America had no idea we would possibly be able to colonize space, or create artificial intelligence.... . they did have incredible insight, profound enlightenment regarding the importance of life, and of each individual human being's importance.. in the importance of the pursuit of comfort and joy in order to serve as natural check and balance guarding against the inevitable spoilage and error to be found in any body of leadership.
This and other considerations cause me to see The United States Constitution and Bill of Rights as sacred documents by definition.. set apart from all other similars for the express purpose of producing everlasting life for all of creation... holy documents for all of mankind.. far more than only the people of our nation. Though i do not believe the bible says that Jesus was ever known to openly carry a sword, and I do very much believe that Jesus wished people would trade in their swords for new tractors to go have fun farming together..... I do one hundred percent believe, that Jesus knew very well that God's laws of physics were very harsh on a people who tolerated tyranny or left their families defenseless.. and I do 100 percent believe that Jesus knew.... that is was not the existence of a sword... but predatory will that was causing the many problems he died trying to solve.
As far as I can see, God gifted Jesus with the insight he had because he had the genuine will to salvage people.. instead of desire for the wage of being seen as one of the good guys.... .. and similarly... God gifted Saint James... long before that Aristotle.... many others in history..... and.... today he has gifted me in similar fashion........ ...
The only thing that i can see that is worth believing in..... .is that God will similarly gift you... and anyone else who genuinely tries to care.
Where Jesus said turn the other cheek.. and pray for your enemy.. he did not mean you should lay prostrate before a killer... he simply meant that if you an control yourself in the heat of passion, you may have a chance to turn a bad situation into something that can actually serve you and your lovedones... perhaps even make a friend where there was nothing but loss before.

You were very brave to talk about the topic at all, but it is a worthy topic... and I know you are a good spirit... I thank you for your patriotism.
Regardless if any of you choose to open carry ... or to concealed carry.. or not carry at all.......... .. .. .there is some chance you will find one day that you had the will to voluntarily put yourself on point.... maybe as Jesus did..... .in those moments you will possibly find that, the fears of a kid grabbing the gun out of your holster very much paled in comparison to what you face then..... ... .. but God's babies... what ever happens... I want you to know...... .. .I believe in you, you are worthy..... and it is your natural birth right, and obligation... To be ... The Lord.... when that time comes.
