šŸŽø She won’t remember this moment when she’s older.

She won’t remember laying on the couch while her parents played guitar beside her, or the way she cooed right along as if she already knew the words of the song.

But she’ll know exactly what it feels like to be this deeply loved.

This is what I hope families remember when they invite me into their homes for newborn photos. We aren’t simply documenting a new baby. We’re preserving the environment that welcomes them into the world. The rhythms, routines, and beautifully ordinary moments that shape a childhood long before memory begins.

✨ Colorado Springs in-home newborn photography centered around connection, presence, and the beauty of everyday family life.

šŸ“ø The most meaningful photographs aren’t usually the ones we planned.

They’re the ones we almost missed.

A hand reaching for yours.
A burst of laughter.
A knowing glance.
A moment of tenderness between who you are and who you’re becoming.

Those are the moments I’m always looking for.

Because sincere connection matters more than posed perfection ever could.

If you’re searching for a Colorado Springs photographer who values presence over performance and connection over perfection, I’d love to welcome you in front of my lens. šŸ¤

One of my favorite things about owning a small business is that no two days look the same. One moment I’m photographing a family’s most meaningful memories, the next I’m answering emails, updating my website, organizing gear, or deep in Lightroom bringing a gallery to life.

There is always something new to learn, something to improve, and another creative challenge waiting around the corner. It keeps my brain engaged, my creativity flowing, and my work endlessly interesting.

It’s never a dull moment around here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

šŸ¤ This.

This is what I mean when I say my work artfully honors your most meaningful seasons.

Your love story isn’t just your wedding day, your elopement, or your anniversary. It’s every chapter in between. The way love deepens as you build a family and a life side by side.

It’s such a privilege to watch your love evolve from behind my lens.

Thank you for trusting me to preserve your legacy with sincerity and intention. šŸ¤

The best part of a session?
When you forget I’m even there.

I’m not here to pose you.
I’m here to prompt you.

I’ll guide you into the light, show you where to stand, then step back and let you play.
Touch. Laugh. Get close. Wander. Be quiet together.

The most honest photos happen when you’re interacting, not performing. When connection replaces instruction.
When presence does the work. I’ll notice your love, and then snap my shutter.

Ahh, 2016. When the hair was really blonde and the eyeliner was very black.

Snapchat filters had a chokehold on us all.

Social media was definitely more fun & things felt less serious. We posted just to post.

2016 energy was where people met online for connection, not post content for content’s sake. And that’s what I want to bring into my feed.

Less performance. More presence. And fun.

And doing things on a whim. Like dyeing your hair pink on your honeymoon… because YOLO, right? šŸ˜‚

šŸ“š Fellow millennials, do you remember those ā€œChoose-Your-Own-Adventureā€ books we loved when we were younger?

My favorite sessions feel just like that.

You decide the type of session, who’s included, where it happens, and what matters most to you. We create the adventure together. You’re the author and I’m the illustrator.

šŸ„ This chapter looked like a maternity session perfectly planned right before a baby shower on a bright winter morning on a little farm in Larkspur, CO.
🤰Returning clients on the edge of becoming first-time parents, surrounded by relatives who traveled to Colorado to celebrate.
šŸ• A dog fully convinced the whole gathering was actually about playing fetch with him.

There were handmade sweaters & socks from a grandma-to-be, dad jokes delivered with zero shame, cousins already becoming future besties while still in utero, and a card game with no rules. Lots of laughter. A few tears (caused more by the bright January sun than overwhelming emotion), but nothing was posed or rushed.

This session was just a simple reminder that motherhood photography can hold humor and tenderness in the same breath.

This is what documentary photography looks like to me. You bring the people, the quirks, the love and the season you’re in. I’ll bring sense of presence that turns into future nostalgia.

If you’re dreaming up your own adventure session filled with sincerity-led photography, I’d be honored to help illustrate your next chapter.

šŸ“– P.S. the plot twists are usually the best part.

✨ 2025, a year of becoming.

This year reminded me that growth doesn’t always look loud or fast. It’s showing up again and again, refining instead of reinventing, and trusting that all of the small, steady steps are adding up.

2025 allowed me to photograph families through changing seasons, welcoming returning faces, meeting new people from near and far, and learning to value consistency.

I’m deeply grateful for every story I was trusted with this year.

I’m stepping into 2026 with more clarity, more intention and a quieter confidence in what I’m building.

šŸ¤Ž Thank you for joining me.
