The Advent season is always a meaningful reminder for me to slow down and truly focus on the heart of Christmas. Reflecting on this past year leaves me incredibly grateful—for the growth, the memories, and the clients I’ve had the honor of serving.
This year brought some big milestones: upgrading my gear, rebranding my business, and stepping into my first year of weddings. I also had the opportunity to photograph some new events, including baptisms, auctions, and commercial and corporate branding. I traveled throughout the PNW, serving clients across Washington, Idaho, and Montana. I’m so excited for everything this new season of life will bring—many exciting things ahead 🤍
As we shift into the new year, here are a few important updates:

🌾 My schedule is temporarily closed for shoots until March as I navigate some life changes. However, I am still reserving portrait and wedding dates for the remainder of the year beginning March 16.
🌾 Wedding dates are already filling quickly—if you’re interested in working together, don’t wait to inquire!
🌾 Website launching January 2026—years of planning and preparation, and it’s finally happening. Coming soon…

A PERSONAL UPDATE:
Photography has been such a meaningful creative outlet for me throughout college and now graduate school. As I continue balancing a separate full-time job and my studies, I’ll be taking a short break from December through the end of February to focus on completing my final coursework and preparing for my clinical rotation.

Autumn weddings bring a different kind of beauty. The cloudy skies make the colors pop in a way that golden light just can’t match. Kevin and Aliyah’s day was the perfect intimate barn wedding full of warmth, quiet moments and so much love. Also, very convinced now that every barn needs a chandelier✨

There is something timeless about black and white. Without color, the eye no longer wanders- it lands where it’s meant to. Stripped of color, but yet full of meaning. No distractions, just emotion. When the color fades, the feeling remains. Only the heart of the moment. These moments from Eli and Lizzy’s day hold so much quiet depth, serving as a reminder that sometimes less really is more.

Before the vows, before the music and toasts—there were the little things.
This wedding day began surrounded by love, faith, and the kind of ordinary beauty that can be easy to overlook. But to me, those are the moments that matter most.
The hum of getting ready for the day, dresses hanging from doorframes, “Father of the Bride” playing quietly in the background. The bride’s entire family and tiny feet of the next generation all under one roof, preparing not just for a wedding day, but for a new chapter.
These kinds of moments might seem small, but they are the heart of the story. And they deserve to be seen, remembered, preserved.
Because life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful—and often, it’s the quiet, imperfect moments that hold the most meaning. That’s the kind of beauty I love to chase.
