Monmouth Camera Club Opens 2026–2027 Season, Invites
Photographers of All Skill Levels to Join
COLTS NECK, NJ (August 29, 2026) — The Monmouth Camera Club
(MCC) invites photography enthusiasts of all skill levels—from hobbyists to
seasoned professionals—to join its upcoming season running September
through June. The first meeting of the new season will be held September
10, 2026.
Founded in 1979, MCC offers an environment where members can share
their passion, hone their craft, and discuss all things photography. As an
active member of both the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs and the
Photographic Society of America (PSA), the club provides access to top-tier
resources, educational presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
MCC meets three Thursdays a month at 7:30 p.m., using a hybrid format
that allows members to participate either in person or via Zoom.
Meeting Details:
In-Person Location: Colts Neck Reformed Church, 139 County Road
537, Colts Neck, NJ
Schedule: Hybrid (In-Person & Zoom) from September through November
and April through June; Zoom-only from December through March.
A cornerstone of the club’s schedule is its monthly digital photography
competition for both color and black-and-white images. To ensure fairness
and encourage participation, competitions are divided into four skill levels
(Beginner - Master). Non-competitive meetings feature expert guest
speakers, technical workshops, and peer constructive feedback.
Prospective members and visitors are invited to observe an upcoming
meeting free of charge, either in person or virtually. To request a Zoom
guest link or to learn more about joining, visit mcc-nj.org or contact
[email protected].
