Education has played a HUGE role in shaping me as a photographer. I assisted a photographer through high school and after, attended the prestigious Rocky Mountain School of Photography. From studying technical aspects to exploring the artistry behind capturing emotions, every lesson ignited my passion even more and the hands-on experience gave me more confidence. It's literally the Harvard of photography, plus ten times better! RMSP equipped me with everything I needed to get started as a professional photographer, and I am so grateful I made the jump to go! I'm wishing the newest PI class of 2024 good luck! Enjoy every second of it!😁

Welcome to Photography 101. In today’s lesson, we’re going to discuss the importance of taking photos with your family at minimum once a year. Pay attention class!
First, it’s important to document how your family grows and changes throughout the year, because you'll want those photos to look back on in years to come. You should also make an effort to update the photos hanging around your house because your beautiful family deserves to have equally beautiful and current art to showcase your unique family!

Over the years, I’ve learned that photography is so much more than just capturing moments. It's about telling stories, showcasing beauty in the everyday, and freezing time in a single frame. And it’s also about patience, experimentation, and embracing imperfection. Through trial and error, I’ve discovered that the best photos come from embracing the joy of learning and growing. Remember when you were a kid and people always asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up? I literally get to do it everyday. More than anything, I love spending my time photographing amazing families and helping them get beautiful art for their homes.
