How special it was to document the inauguration of the 25th President of Stephens College on Saturday! Thank you to the marketing team at Stephens for asking me to photograph this very important and historic occasion for their institution and for President Lundeen.

The installation ceremony was hosted in the college’s equestrian center, aka horse arena, which was transformed into a beautiful event space. The ceremony included vocal performances by several students, as well as remarks by Chair of Stephens College Board of Trustees Vice Admiral Nancy Brown, Student Government Association President KaLynn Irey, and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Leslie Willey. Special guest and President of Hollins University Dr. Mary Dana Hinton gave the final remarks before Mayor Barbara Buffaloe took to the stage to proclaim March 14 Shannon B. Lundeen Day.

I especially loved how this ceremony began with a processional through the horse stables. During the reception that followed, guests took a moment to sing happy birthday to president Lundeen’s youngest son who turned 8 that day. The whole event was very meaningful and I was honored to play a part in capturing it. I’m looking forward to documenting more traditions and Stephens spirit at the Alumni Reunion next month!

So happy to share some images from Whitley and Shelby’s big day last January! They celebrated their one year anniversary a few days ago and I couldn’t stop smiling while going through their images again. They were two of the happiest brides I’ve photographed; two people deeply in love and not afraid to show it. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to capture such joy! I documented 16 wedding celebrations in 2025!! It’s truly an honor to be chosen as a couple’s personal documentarian for such an important day in their life. For this throwback post I picked one random moment from each wedding. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their most precious memories!

I’m also putting it out here that I plan on sharing more of my work (old and new) in 2026 after years of taking a break from regular posting. It’s time to create that habit again, little by little. It's always a good time helping Karl (Bussen Productions) with behind the scenes coverage during his video shoots.

This was my first time photographing a bull, and I survived to tell about it, lol! Also, gotta say I’m jealous of Andy’s luscious hair!

Logboat Brewing Company released the High Tide video a couple of weeks ago. I shared it on my IG stories today () You can also find it on Logboat’s page. You should watch it just for Andy’s hair flip!
