Enjoy activities for all ages, including face painting, gold panning, stagecoach rides, candle making, and more! Come for the fun and adventure—and make lasting memories in California’s best-preserved Gold Rush town. Admission and parking are free! 🍁🍂

Join us for an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration in Columbia! Enjoy a day filled with a parade, games, contests, music, demonstrations, activities, shopping, BBQ, and much more! If you think you can't have a nice meal out without a babysitter, think again, there's an option at Columbia City Hotel Restaurant and What Cheer Saloon on Thursday nights (4p-8p) Make a reservation bring the kids, ages 2-12, with you, dine in our elegant dining room while the kids are fed with their own reasonable-prices child-friendly menu in the adjacent Morgan room, while being served and monitored by our fabulous Bella. Enjoy a fine meal and service while your kids are close by, but conveniently at a distance. Tell your mate how much you appreciate them while someone else cleans up your kid's messes.
