"I don't believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in love at fourth sight."

Oh these two had a meet-cute made for Hollywood and a wedding day Disney perfect. But more than that, it's real. The hard effort they put in to a relationship that had had to contend with military obligations. It's the fairytale blended with "if they wanted to, they would." And they did.

Plus they are the final 2023 wedding! 12 hours and over 7,000 shutter clicks (and I had to find 10 images for a sneak peek). Whew! What an end to the wedding season!

We have made it to the finish line! I started the year with a Navy wedding and that's how we are ending the 2023 season!

Alex and Gabe have flown all the way from California to celebrate with their friends and family and I'm so ready. It's going to be a long day - 11 hrs of coverage but I've got the whole team today.

Let's have a little groom appreciation moment.

On the wedding day I'm trying to do two things with the groom. Deliver classic portraits that stand the test of time and highlight the Grooms personal experience of the day. And be fast so that he can relax and have fun (ok, maybe that's three things).

I love it when there are some activities like pool or golf or poker that all the guys can do together. Highlighting male friendship, and the role your favorite guys play in your life is just as important as any other detail. We knew Connor's hotel had this great pool table so we built some extra time into his timeline specifically so we could take the Groomsmen there and have a little fun.

That's the key- being intentional about making time for these moments!

And shoutout to my great second shooter Rachel who took most of these portraits while I was with Katrina.

Magical might be a way to describe yesterday's wedding. Romantic, elegant, and a hell-of-a-good-time, might a few more words that come to mind.

Madeline and Kenneth's day blended the timeless and the trendy, weaving in a romantic late September color palette. Joined by Senator, their beloved weimaraner, their Stone Tower Winery wedding was perhaps, simply perfect.
