PJ has been creating photographs since 1998; she received her first SLR from her father as a gift for surviving a six-year stint in the Army. Since then, she has striven to create the most meaningful images in her power; she considers photography to be no less than a means of time travel that can take one back to wherever they wish to go. PJ earned her BFA in Visual Communication from Kansas State

University, graduating cm laude. She is a photographer and painter, with a continuing interest in commercial design and illustration. She has a day job as an Emergency Room RN, but she tries not to let that get in her way.
