I first photographed this little guy when he was a newborn and it was truly such an honor to have been invited back to take his 1 year photos. Time really is a thief.

The thing I’m most blessed with in life is being a mother. No matter what happens each day, they’re always my joy. Being a mother is a responsibility I don’t take lightly & something I’m learning more about each and every day.

I also know what it’s like to go through loss.. to long to be a mother. To wonder when. To feel that sense of longing. God has been faithful. Even when things didn’t go how I wanted, He was faithful then as well. He’s good even when we don’t see the good.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, longing-to-be-moms, moms who gained a baby in Heaven, adoptive moms, foster moms, step moms, missing their moms.. May you feel held 🤍
