We have a question: What are you looking for in a wedding photographer? Style? Personality? Service? Price? Maybe all of the above...

Over the past 3-4 years our number of in-person meetings have dropped so much that we sometimes don't get to meet our couples face to face before the big day. Life moves fast, schedules are hard, and not everyone is conveniently in downtown Columbia. We get it. It's a juggling act, and digital life has made things so much more convenient.

Our goal for each couple/client literally anyone looking for the perfect fit is to make that process as painless as possible. We sure do miss seeing your faces in the studio though. Nothing beats a great meeting where we get to hear about how you met, and see the excitement on your face when you talk about what's the most important part of the day for you.

If you're planning and photography is next on your list, we'd LOVE to have you in, laugh with you, and hear your love story...even if you go in another direction 😆

What were we doing while we were away for over two weeks? Exploring, adventuring, and pushing our limits.

We approached this trip not as a vacation, but as an expedition. Every day was different bringing new challenges both mentally and physically. Each day also brought so much beauty. While I was the permit holder for this trip, I truly could not have been able to do this trip without a strong and amazing group of people.

So I might have complained just a little when I showed up at the horseshoe and found that the rose garden I love had been changed and this huge gazebo was added. I quickly took it back when we had so much fun using it 💖

Can we have a moment for these photos shot on film? We've recently been bringing along a film camera or two when we (and by we I mean me. Aaron.) feels like it's something we can take on for an extra moment in the day...or if I'm honest when I remember the film bag. 🫣

There's always something so special about getting these scans back. Am I just nostalgic? Sentimental? What's your take?
