I am a self-taught photographer, I've always had a love for art, but my true passion for photography started back in 1996 when I moved to Maryland and needed to send pics of my kids back to my family in Iowa. From there, family and friends started ask

ing me to take their kids' pictures or update their family photos... Since then, I was hooked and have been fortunate enough to create a small business that I truly enjoy! At one time, I had a portrait studio, but I am now running my office out of our home, focusing on outdoor photography. We live outside of Columbus Junction IA off a gravel road in the country, perfect for LOTS of beautiful natural backgrounds! But if you have a place to take pictures, I am happy to come to your location or meet in the middle! A little bit about my family... I'm a mom of 4 boys {all adults now} and a proud grandma of 2 grandkids! My husband is my rock as our youngest adult son lives with us and I am his main caregiver {as our son struggles with severe Autism and Epilepsy}. Most of my daytime is spent working with our son on life skills and taking care of him. When I’m not doing that, you can usually find me enjoying time with the rest of our family and loving on my grandkids whenever I can!! I'm so grateful for what I do and the people that I get to meet along the way.
