Hey everyone. It’s been about 6 months since I last posted here and I wanted to share a bit of my heart and where I’ve been.
For a long time I’ve struggled with a perfectionist mindset. I wanted to wait until everything was flawless before reaching out, having all things caught up, having my website fully finished, my branding perfectly renamed, and my new LLC launch looking completely seamless.
But lately I feel like God and the universe have been putting me through a deeply humbling experience. I am being forced out of that perfectionist mindset, pushed into what I felt called to do in the first place (Creating this business) and also reminded that life is messy and sometimes we have to move forward before we feel "ready."
Recently I took a massive leap of faith to officially structure and expand my photography business under a new LLC. I invested everything into this future and I wanted to make it as “perfect” as possible.. and then realized that went directly against what I want the underlying value of my business to be about. The fact that we aren’t perfect, life isn’t perfect we’re human experiencing real raw life. I want to be a safe space for people to be themselves and encourage people to live authentically, imperfect and in order to do that I too must do the same.
So in the midst of this and a few other transitions, my family and I are currently facing an urgent financial deadline to save our home from an eviction filing over the next week.
I know times are incredibly tough for so many people right now with the economy and everyday expenses. Because of that I am determined to work our way through this crisis by offering real value instead of asking for handouts.
When my business fully launches, $150 will be close to my baseline minimum price for standard sessions. But right now to hit this urgent goal I am looking for 20 people to pre pay $150 for a full 1-hour session that you can lock in today and use whenever you are ready.
The Details:
✨ You can use this for a full 1-hour session of any type (Family portraits, Couples, Individuals, or Small Business Branding shoots). Note: This excludes weddings or large events.
✨ You pay now to lock in the rate, and you can book the actual date whenever you want over the next year.
✨ All future bookings will use a standard contract to protect your session.
