Looking for a lightweight tripod that doesn’t feel cheap? this might be it.

I’ve been needing something that’s actually easy to travel with but still feels solid enough for real video work. Unboxing the Sirui VA5X right now and first impression is it’s way nicer than I expected. It’s made of carbon fiber, super lightweight, folds down small, but the fluid head is smooth enough for clean pans and tilts without fighting it.

This feels like one of those pieces of gear you don’t think about until you use it… and then you’re like “yeah, this is staying in the kit.” Gonna put it through some real shoots, but so far I’m impressed 👀🎥
