Dear META/Facebook algorithm… 🥲❤️

I just want to see my FRIENDS, family, and the small businesses I follow. Not random people I’ve never met and the same 5 posts on repeat.

Remember when Facebook showed us our people’s posts in order?! 🥹 Now I feel like I’m missing birthdays, life updates, photos, and businesses I genuinely WANT to support because the algorithm decides what I get to see.

Social media was supposed to keep us CONNECTED, not make us fight to see the people we chose to follow. 🫠

To my friends, followers, and fellow small business owners: I promise I’m not ignoring you! ❤️ I WANT to see your posts and support you. Half the time, they never even show up on my feed!

I am still trying to process this because WHAT?! 😭❤️

This week, Z Parker Photography hit 1,000 followers on Facebook, and I was featured in South Magazine for my wedding photography at The Garment Factory! 📸✨

Little ol’ me, doing something I absolutely LOVE, is now being featured in a magazine?! I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get used to saying that. 🥹

And 1,000 of you?! ONE THOUSAND PEOPLE?! 😭❤️ Whether you’ve booked with me, shared my work, recommended me, liked a post, or just follow along and cheer me on thank you. Seriously.

I started photography because I loved capturing real, beautiful moments… and somehow it has turned into THIS. 🥹

I’m feeling all the emotions today proud, grateful, excited, and honestly a little shocked. 😂❤️
