Oak + Pine husband + wife specializing in wedding and lifestyle photography I'm kate. nice to meet you. I'm very busy, but I love it.

I am an animal-loving, reality-TV-watching, vegetarian creative who has a passion for making art of any kind. I like to credit my mom for my interest in photography, since I learned how to shoot manual on her pentax k1000 when I was 9 years old. I have a bachelor's of science in design from the ohio state university, and also continue to work as an interior designer for meyers + associates architects. in my spare time, I enjoy taking yoga classes, painting, and spending time with my family. my husband mike is my partner in crime and second shooter. he is a music enthusiast, avid runner, and a fabulous cook (thankfully, because I would probably never eat). he also came by photography very naturally as he learned from his dad, another photographer in the family. thanks for letting us share our passion as we work together to deliver the our most genuine and authentic photos to you and your family.
