As the sun sets on summer and we prepare to embrace the rich tapestry of fall, I can’t help but feel inspired by the stunning beauty that Ohio has to offer. 🌅 Dawes Arboretum is one of my absolute favorite spots to capture those magical moments, especially for engagement sessions! The vibrant greens of summer are still holding on just a bit, and it's the perfect backdrop for couples to celebrate their love before the leaves start to change.

Walking through the arboretum, you can feel the anticipation of the seasons blending together. Happy 4th of July!! Don't mind us as we are out celebrating our FREEDOM with our family today! Grilling out some hotdogs, eating lots of chips and salsa and of course some watermelon! We have a fun day of hanging out and swimming in the pool. We are seeing fireworks tonight and it is going to be AMAZING! I hope you are enjoying your 4th of July and your freedom! Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve for the U.S.A!

We got chickens!! I sent this photo to Scott this morning and told him that... I think he had a mini heart attack hehe. Happy April fools day!! Sadly, I did not pick up baby chicks this morning... we used to have chickens back before Scott and I ever met. I want to get chickens again soon - but this year, we are travelling too much to have it make sense to get chickens. So, I will wait another year until these cute little chicks make their appearance... just wait till March 2022, hehe.
