There’s something magical about Community Festival. Same folks, same goals, same. But each year brings something new, music, art , people coming together to love itself. No matter where we may be socially, we can do this. It was a pleasure to capture it on emultion. Most taken on a 135mm lens manually, some Kodak, some Fuji, 100, 400 and 800 ASA on a K mount Pentax. Digital can beat it. Loved shooting these beautiful souls this year. I needed it. Big up CBus.

Day 2; ComFest 54. - celluloid to be developed..

All the music. Funk, punk, rock, jazz… this was an all time signature kinda day. Every food truck has a line, every stage was packed, so many old friends, new friends, beautiful people. This is how you throw an event. Small towns should take notes.

It’s what my last two locations wished they were and if they did, it would cost something, ComFest is free.
Beautiful art, honorable, respectful and exemplary people. No betrayal, lies or deceit. Just a community coming together to celebrate itself. Big up ComFest.

Day One of ComFest 54 in the books.

Two 35mm rolls to be developed, but I saw the largest l***a outside of my first day of existence, Corbin, a Melon look-a-like, tribute to a bizaro and a Richie, Turi, Joslin, Hurst and many old friends from past lives.

This is what ComFest is about.

Sometimes, you gotta go see a show… if you don’t have your dog, film is a mediocre substitute, but that none the less. Hoodoo is always a tight and dynamic experience. Glad funk still has hold over the Ohio valley.
