And baby makes six ♥️

Tomorrow we take their newborn photos and I couldn’t help but reflect on our sessions past. I have had the honor of capturing newborn photos of all four of their children now, and holy moly do I feel grateful. I’m grateful that this gets to be my job. Grateful to be trusted to capture some of the most precious photos in your lives. So grateful that through photography God brought Katie into my life. You are truly one in a million sweet friend, and my life is greatly enriched just by having you in it.

Hey y’all, I’m Emily! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, I am so glad you’re here! This is me and my little family, in a place that’s special to us- our home. I love photographing your family in all the places that are most special to YOU and bring your family the most joy! Pizza night in your kitchen? I’m in! Giving your dog a bath in the hose? I’m there! Family picnic and bubbles at your favorite park? I’d love that! My favorite thing is capturing your family doing whatever it is that brings you joy! Even the mundane every day things that are often overlooked. Oftentimes those are the exact memories we want to bottle up and remember 30 years from now! So let the kids dress up in superhero capes and dance in the kitchen, I’m here for it all!

A bit about me for those that are new!

I have two creative, hilarious, and sweet kiddos, Lydia is 9 and Dylan is 6. We are a homeschooling family and we truly love being together every single day.

My husband, Cole, and I met in nursing school (that’s a story for another time!lol), about 14 years ago, and we have been married now for 12 years. He truly is my favorite person on the planet and love of my life.

My degree is in early childhood and I taught preschool mostly, but I started this business when Lydia was just 5 months old. I have always toggled between my mom and wife hat, and a business owner hat. Making editing and emails happen between nap time and bath time. I love that Lydia has grown right alongside this business of mine, and my kids getting to see their mom work hard and do something she loves that she built!

I swear my veins are filled with coffee because I live off of Starbucks. I prefer a cozy rainy day. Mountains over the beach. I never turn down ice cream or a good book. Laughter is the best medicine. Jesus has never failed me.

I have a saying in my business-clients turned friends, because truly so many of you have been in front of my camera for many years, and now we have become friends. So when I come over to capture your family we laugh, catch up, and play with your kids! Just like an old friend 🥰

Pt 2 of the stunning S family! After we enjoyed our hot pretzels at the pretzel shop, we wondered down the road and found this cutie nook. We sat down and let the kids take the lead! Next time you see their faces on my feed, it will be with their brand new baby earth-side for them to snuggle and love🥰

Pure radiant sunshine is the best way to describe this family! We bottled up a summer evening and all the chaos and love that comes with it. I laughed so hard my sides hurt by the end!!! These four girls are confident, silly, sweet, and an absolute joy to be around. Wow what a blessing it is to know this beautiful family 💕
