Our theme inside the women-only Band of Babes Facebook group is JOY ON PURPOSE, and I would love for you to join us!

All month long, we’ll be sharing:

What exactly is a Sunday Swap Circle ?

Each babe makes several of the same handmade item and brings them to share. Then we gather, eat, talk , laugh and hear the stories behind everyone’s creations and go home with an assortment of goodies made by other women.

Our second swap was lemon themed and these babes understood the assignment !

There were soaps, salsa, sugar scrub , painted totes and so many thoughtful details.

But honestly, the things we took home weren’t the best part.

The best part was watching women who didn’t all know each other at the beginning of the evening talking, laughing and connecting by the end.

I photographed a client Friday for her bridal bo***ir session, and going through her images afterward reminded me of something I never want to forget.

There is SO much more to an image once you hold it in your hands. The details you scroll past on a screen — you actually see them in print.
