Norang Photography lifestyle child and family photographer. i first picked up a camera going on 20 years ago and fell in love. slowly I made into my own business.

I love going out in my free time and shooting landscapes and exploring nature. I also love doing lifestyle family and kid shoots as I love showing personalities and expression of people. seeing emotion and being able to feel my photos is my goal.

Eeeek I'm super excited with how she turned out! Her skirt was my first closed form and it sat on my shelf and I had no idea what I was going to do with her. At the end of May I had the wonderful opportunity of going to a Korean ceramics festival down in Cincinnati Queen City Clay. I came home and knew what I wanted to do after watching Hunhee cho 도자기풍경 조훈희 do a demonstration on how she gets her beautiful pieces carved! She's a great inspiration and I'm thrilled that this technique worked so well for this piece! Thank you for all the encouragement along the way! I'm definitely going to practice more!

Stacked moon jar demo. They estimated that he had 50lbs on one wheel and 25 on the other. We watched him center the clay and then form a beautiful 2 part moon jar. And here I struggle with 5-7lbs! 😂 And what else is amazing to me is how clean they all throw. Hardly any clay on their clothing! We've been working on throwing cleaner in our classes and watching him throw this much clay with out a pan and keep so clean was wild!

One of the few slab/hand builders at this even. So talented! He talked about the self portrait. We work with a lot of handbuilding in our classes so this was fun to see. There's something so raw and real when artists do their own self portraits. I loved seeing all of his drawings! My boss/teacher always encouraged us to draw. But so many don't but I see the benefits of drawing ahead of time. I've started filling up sketchbooks!
