My name is Joanna Andres and I am aMom of 2 beautiful children who I adore. Ever since they were born I was obsessed with taking photos of them. I would always try new techniques on photographing them whether it was with the lighting, composition and editing. Now that both my kids are in school full time I decided to take my passion of photography to the next level. I LOVE capturing memories for newborns, children and families. Capturing pictures of your children from the 1st week they are born to every Birthday is so important because they grow so incredibly fast. It was so wonderful to see Laura back in the studio for her maternity portraits! She was here two years ago for her maternity session, and now she’s expecting her third baby, a sweet little boy!

Laura is absolutely stunning, and it was so fun having Anna help her get ready for her session. Anna did Laura’s hair and makeup for her previous maternity session as well, so Laura was excited to have her help create another beautiful look for this round of maternity photos!

We had incredible weather at Quarry Trails Metro Park for his senior session honestly, it’s one of the absolute best spots in the area for dynamic, natural outdoor portraits for guys!

Ace is not only super photogenic, but he’s also a total powerhouse. He had an undefeated season on the mat with UA Wrestling last year, and he’s planning to pursue Pre-Med after graduation!

If I had a dollar for every time a parent told me they almost didn't book a session because of this fear, I'd need a bigger studio!

Here’s the secret: newborn sessions don't depend on "luck"they depend on preparation and experience. When you bring your little one to the studio, we take care of everything so you can actually sit back and rest:

🌡️ The Cozy Setup: The studio is warmed up to a cozy 80–90°F to keep baby completely relaxed, paired with soft white noise and a gentle baby shusher.
💆‍♀️ Good Vibes Only: Babies pick up on stress! We create a calm, peaceful atmosphere so baby stays naturally relaxed throughout.
📋 The Prep Guide: Before you even step foot in the door, you’ll get my step-by-step prep guide (tips on feeding, burping, and easy-layer outfits) to set us up for smooth sailing.
🤝 Safety First: My assistant and I handle all the soothing, posing, and spotting so your baby is safe, secure, and content the entire time.

I know I’m completely biased, but Olivia… you are STUNNING.

We spent an hour and 45 minutes getting her hair done (which means we lost a LOT of our beautiful evening light 😂), so it’s a good thing your mom is a photographer and we can do as many senior sessions as you want because we didn’t even get around to all of her outfit changes!

But honestly, she made my job so easy. She is such a natural in front of the camera. I barely had to tell her what to do, she just knew.

I had to post one sneak peek, but there are SO many more to come!

Sweet Siyara was just 17 days old for her portrait session yesterday, right in that ideal sweet spot! People often ask why we aim for the first 2–3 weeks: it’s when babies are still naturally sleepy, cozy, and love those curled-up poses.

Siyara slept like an angel while we created these soft, classic images for her family to treasure forever.

Noah was in the studio for his 6-month milestone session, and he brought the big smiles! I absolutely love capturing this age...they’re sitting up on their own, full of personality, and often showing off those adorable first teeth. Noah is already rocking two little bottom teeth! Mom chose a fun sea animal theme for his setup, and the shades of blue turned out so beautifully.
