My honey bear is doing good and still pulling a little but every day will get better. Haltering cattle is done to help young calves learn how to listen and know their owners are in control. This is done typically at a young age because they are much easier to handle plus the horns become a hazard to both the person and the cow. You develop trust between the calf and yourself so they will know you are their owner. You must do this consistently on a daily basis so that the calf will know it’s not just every now and then that they have to listen.
