On Saturday, June 3rd, I went out with my first contact that I made through my Craigslist ad. We went to the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness for some late season backcountry snowboarding. I followed him on his splitboard as we worked our way to the summit of Round Top Mountain, and then bombed back down. It was a great time and a great experience.

It is National Park Week, and I am reminiscing back to this amazing trip to Crater Lake while also incredibly excited to be going to Sequoia National Park this weekend.

Snowshoeing through Crater Lake National Park was such an amazing experience. Hard work when there wasn't a trail to follow, but very rewarding.
