Every once in a while, I think it’s only fair that I step out from behind the camera and let you meet the girl behind all the wedding pictures. 🫶🏾
So, hi. I’m Phylicia. I’m a photographer, filmmaker, wife of 17 years, and a homeschooling mom of four. I love Jesus and His people, I’m obsessed with my husband, obsessed with fashion, and generally obsessed with making things.
I love vintage clothes, sewing, art, music, singing opera, and pretty much any excuse to turn an idea into something tangible. I guess I’ve always just been a person who needs to create.
And honestly, that’s probably why I love weddings so much. They bring me face to face with the things I value most, faith, marriage, family, culture, beauty, and the little moments that make a life feel full. I get to see all of it through my own artistic lens and turn those moments into something you can
So while you’re usually seeing my work here, I thought it was about time you met the person behind it. Because all of these little pieces of me my love for people, art, fashion, family, and story, somehow make their way into the way I photograph and film weddings.
