After 11+ years of photographing couples, families, weddings, and elopements, I can confidently say… you do not need modeling experience to have beautiful photos.
My job is not just to take photos. My job is to guide you through prompts and clear directions, help you feel comfortable, read the lighting, work around crowds, direct movement naturally, and create a space where you can actually enjoy the experience instead of stressing over it.
Most of the people you see on my page started by saying they were nervous in front of the camera too. The magic usually happens in the in-between moments — the laughs, the movement, the little interactions that feel like you.

I absolutely love when my clients tell me they “don’t know how to pose” or feel awkward in front of the camera because it gives me the opportunity to show them that you truly don’t need modeling experience to have beautiful, natural photos. Most of my clients are everyday couples and families who have never professionally posed before, and honestly, that’s exactly who I love working with most.

My job is not to expect you to know what to do — it’s to guide you every step of the way. I focus on creating movement, genuine connection, and candid moments so your photos feel natural instead of stiff or overly posed. I’ll gently direct you in a way that feels comfortable and easy while still giving your images that timeless, editorial feel.

The wind was no joke… but honestly, that’s just San Francisco for you 😂🌬️

My clients always worry that the wind is going to ruin their photos, but trust me — it usually ends up adding so much movement, emotion, and life to your gallery. Windswept hair, flowing dresses, candid laughter… sometimes the imperfect moments create the most beautiful photos.

You don’t need perfect weather for beautiful memories. We’ll make it work to our advantage every single time 🤍

This is just a snippet of what you’ll get when you hire me as you San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer who prioritizes candid and documentary style photos than perfectly posed ones. Posing in front of the camera doesn’t come naturally for most people and for that reason I direct you every step of the way to get those candid, genuine photos. I also know when to pull back and let these moments naturally happen.
