Morning at the Cabin!

Since I was still in Durango visiting clients, I decided to spend the night on the pass and wake up with the cabin! The Fall colors are definitely starting!

Night Light

After sunset at Thor's Well, we drove down the coast and I caught this shot below the Heceta Head lighthouse! The afterglow of sunset created this beautiful gradient behind the sea stacks and the lighthouse was awesome to watch!

Coming Soon!!!

I have to admit, I'm starting to get pumped for the coming season!! The fall colors create the most incredible scenes, and it's always my favorite time of year!! Can't wait to start chasing the gold again this year!!

Thor's Well

We had a great time exploring around Thor's Well on the Oregon coast last month! This wild sinkhole seems to drop into middle earth! It was awesome watching it fill up and drain to almost 20 feet deep!

There's also the "Spouting Horn" there that blasted water high into the air! Such a neat place!

Wreck of the Peter Iredale

The morning after our Cannon Beach sunset my son and I went to see this old shipwreck! It was really cool to check out and a testament of the rough seas in the area!

Lunar Eclipse

It was pretty fun watching the moon last night! I had to pull out the big lens to try and capture the eclipse, and this one came out alright!

Isabelle Morning

This morning I hiked up to Lake Isabelle in the Indian Peaks wilderness! Finally got up to see this local spot! Definitely a beautiful morning!

Cannon Beach Sunset

We had a beautiful evening on Cannon Beach a couple of weeks ago! My son and I were skimming waves and tossing the frisbee while I snapped shots of the glowing sunset behind the famous sea stacks! It was a great time!

NatGeo Tree

When in Portland, I had to visit the Japanese Garden and see the National Geographic Tree! The bright afternoon light wasn't ideal, so I'll have to go back again one day, but it sure was amazing!
