Celebration of Life Pet Sessions – FAQs
-What is a Celebration of Life Session?
It’s a photo session dedicated to honoring the bond between you and your beloved pet. Whether it’s a quiet goodbye or simply a celebration of the life you share together, this session is about capturing that love in timeless photographs.
-Does my pet have to be old?
Not at all. These sessions are for any stage of life. Some choose to photograph their pets in their golden years, capturing those wise eyes and frosty faces, but others simply want to celebrate the love they share right now.
-Where does the session take place?
We’ll meet in a peaceful field in Conroe, TX during golden hour — that dreamy, glowing light just before sunset that makes everything feel a little more magical.
-What if my dog can’t be off-leash?
No problem at all — bring the leash! I can guide you on how to hold it so it’s hidden in the photos. Most dogs stay leashed during sessions.
-Can my kids or spouse join in?
Absolutely. This is your family, and your pet is a part of it. Bring anyone you want in the frame.
-What if my dog has trouble walking?
We won’t need to go far. We can stay in one spot, sit in the grass, or even use a wagon from the car to the field if needed. Comfort comes first.
-What if I cry during the session?
Then we cry together. These sessions are full of love and sometimes, that means laughter, sometimes tears. Many people tell me sweet stories while I quietly take photos. Some cry. That’s okay. My job is to gently photograph the love in whatever form it takes. Smiling is love. Crying is love, too. It’s all beautiful.
