01/02/2019
2018 was a very busy year for me both in business and my personal life. Between balancing my full-time job, part-time work as a personal assistant, passion projects, marriage, buying a house, the birth of our baby girl, Fallon, and nurturing our big, beautiful, blended family life, I am amazed of the inner drive I found within and somehow I still walked into the new year with my sanity intact, well mostly ;). But if I am being totally honest with myself, it was hard and was meet with challenges. Balance has always been a struggle for me and throughout the year I often felt guilty for not giving 100% in all areas of my life, all the time.
2019 is officially the year of HEALTH for me, in all aspects of my life. Slowing down my business workflow, reworking my model program, and finalizing details on our community philanthropic project are just a few goals, of many, in store for Sarah Rose Portraits. Continually strengthening my marriage alongside my best friend and growing together in our faith; just the thought of our journey brings such joy to my heart. Making space for ME in my life by creating a routine of mindfulness and nourishing choices - physical activity, calming my mind, and following my heart; in all matters. Devoting more quality time to creating lasting memories with my family, whom I love above all else.
Although 2018 was my busiest, to say the least, it was by far my favorite year to date. I am forever thankful for all of the high school seniors and their families who entrust me to document such an exciting time in their lives. I feel like this year is going to bring loads of new adventures and opportunities. What is in store for you in 2019?? Here’s hoping this new year is the best yet!
Our first family portrait was taken by two of the most talented and kindhearted individuals I've ever met, Christopher & Nancy.
