The sweetest, tiniest little details for the most perfect little boy 💕 One of the most amazing things about photography is watching people and families grow…. It’s such an underrated privilege to watch engagements, weddings, pregnancy announcements, new babies, baby’s firsts. All the most amazing moments of a life that you’re invited into, ugh… incredible. I’m so happy for this sweet couple, a beautiful baby to love on!

I’m so thankful to have the crowd that I do in my corner. And I’m even more thankful to them for helping me renew my passion for photography. Being able to catch pictures like these for people in public safety is a favorite of mine because we don’t get many pictures of us on the job, and a lot of us are really proud of what we do.

These fine people here are some of the best and I’m thankful for them and all they do at work and outside of it.

I’m so glad this was one of my last sessions. It’s not my story to share but sometimes it’s a literal blessing from God to be able to save memories for families. And I’m so thankful to this sweet family for restoring my why. I’ve never been so thankful to be in the position I’m in to create moments for people who deserve it or to be hugged by another person.

Hey all.

I have a couple of announcements that I wanted to share.

As of today, I’ve decided to take a break from photography.

With the economy the way it is and a lack of booking, I can’t afford to keep days open just in case there might be a booking. Mini sessions are expensive and are under booked. Regular sessions seem far in between. And I’m burnt out trying to keep up with the demands of social media as well as my full time job and life.

I’ll be keeping messenger for all of my regular clients and to honor sessions that are already booked as well as contracts.

Raffle winners will be announced this evening.

I have to return to enjoying photography to truly provide my best service and I feel like with things the way they are, I’m not giving my best.

I’ve prayed on this a lot and I keep coming back to the fact that I need to return to why I started photography. It was never meant to be a job for me quite like it is now.

Thank you all for all of your support.

For my regular clients and friends, you can still reach out. I will still be doing photography but it’ll be outside of social media. I’ll gladly provide my number to anyone who wants it.

And for other photographers…. When you get to a point where you’re comparing yourself to other photographers and wondering why you’re not good enough, take a break. Reevaluate. Let yourself reset. Return to your why. That’s any profession honestly.

Again, thank you all that regularly supported me. I appreciate it greatly.
