I currently take photos all around the Southern California area, local airprorts like Torrance, Van Nuys, LAX, Santa Monica and if I can get close, aircraft working brushfires. In addtion I also go to numerous airshows and aviation events in the area

One of the first airshows my father took me was either Planes of Fame in 78 or 79 or NAS Miramar. I remember the Blue Angeles A-4 Skyhawks not flyin

g due to weather. As I got older I made a Kodak 110 camera and attempted to take pictures. I progressed to using my Dad's Canon AE-1. I used that for years until my first real job and got a Canon Elan 7. It was then that another influence in my photography came about after meeting aviation photographer Joe Cupido (author of CHINO: Warbird Treasures Past and Present). His guidance got me to start shooting slides which was great and he was a great guy to go to with my photography questions and suggestions. I mainly shot on the Southern California area and have gone to out of state shows like Amigo Airshow, El Paso TX, Holloman AFB airshow and Aviation Nation at Nellis AFB. I have been published in Aircraft Illustrated Jan 08,Airforce Monthly Jan09, 4 photos in Don Logans F-117 Steath Fighter Roll Call, F-4 Phantom Society website, and various times in the Pacific Flyer under the Letters to the Editor section. I hope as I get better and with unique opportunities that being a member of Fence check, Aviation Photographers of So Cal and F-4 Phantom II Society, allows me better chance to be published and grow as a aviation photographer.
