Stand out from the crowd? Before teaching a private photography class this morning, I gathered some flowers to illustrate depth of field. The fresh summer blue hydrangeas contrasted with the more mature stems from earlier in the season. Older spring blooms with their soft greens, subtle flaws from weathering the heat, drought reminded me it's ok to be me. To have experience in my profession. To stand out.
