Mommas, this one is for you. 🤍
One thing I will always do during a family session is pull Mom aside for a few photos of just her.
And sometimes I know you may be thinking, “Oh no, I don’t need pictures of me.” Maybe you’re worried about how you look, you’re tired, or you’d much rather have the camera focused on your babies.
But someday, your children will look back at these photos and they won’t see the things you saw in the mirror. They’ll see their mom.
They’ll see the woman who held them, loved them, comforted them, prayed over them, packed the lunches, kissed the boo-boos, wiped the tears, and gave so much of herself to her family.
They deserve to have photos of you.
Not just the mom behind the camera.
Not just the one holding everyone together.
Not just the one taking the pictures.
You deserve to be remembered, too.
So yes, I’m going to ask you to step away from your babies for a minute. I’m going to tell you to look at me, laugh, turn your face toward the light, and let me capture you exactly as you are in this season of motherhood.
Because these moments don’t last forever.
And one day, I hope you’re so thankful you said yes to the photo. 🥹🤍
