If updating your family photos has been on your to-do list, now is the time to get on my calendar.

I’ll be out of the office later this week, and when I return I’ll be finalizing dates for this year’s Holiday Sessions.

I currently have only about **12 weekend spots remaining before December**, so if you’re wanting classic, non-holiday family photos this fall, I highly recommend reaching out soon.

And I know I’ve run into quite a few of you **out in the wild**—the grocery store, crowded public places, etc.—who have told me you need to book a session.

Let’s get it done. 😂

My **Weekday Evening Beach Special** will also continue through September and October.

Just a reminder: I do **not** schedule family or Holiday sessions during December. December availability is reserved for Maternity, Newborn, Cake Smash, and Birthday sessions only.

I just love babies with...
-squishy cheeks and rolls
-teeny tiny babies

-LOTS of hair
-a fuzzy little balding head

-full pouty lips
-tiny little rosebud mouth

-teeny little hands and feet
-big sausage fingers and long toes

-wrinkly newborn skin
-smooth plump skin

-squishy curled up bodies
-long stretched out legs

-gorgeous shiny dark hair
-beautiful bright blonde and red toned hair

-small soft cries and whimpers
-big set of healthy lungs that can be heard from outside

Look, who am I kidding? Every baby that comes in has some amazing characteristic that I just gush over with the parents. All of my tiny clients are just the most perfect beautiful babies I've ever seen. I don't know how all the people with beautiful genes find me in particular, but I'm not complaining one bit!
Keep them coming, I'll be here to freeze all those little perfections in time.

Newborns & smiles…

Sometimes I can tell when one is about to happen, so I’ll hover over baby with my camera and patiently wait. Occasionally I catch it. Most of the time I don’t.

Naturally, they usually decide to smile the second I set my camera down or turn away. Go figure. 😂

Sometimes I rush back just in time to miss it completely… or catch something perfectly adorable and completely out of focus. Boo.

But TWINS smiling at the same time — and me actually having my camera up, focused, and ready at that exact moment?!

Absolutely miraculous.

And honestly, this one photo was worth every bit of effort that went into their session.

About six hours from start to finish. An aching back. Patiently waiting for each baby to settle into each pose. Feeding and snuggling breaks. Reassuring an anxious momma that her babies were doing just fine. The burning in my legs from squatting beside them, trying to perfect a pose without disturbing two finally-content little humans.

Twin newborn sessions take patience. A lot of it.

But then you get a moment like this.

Two tiny smiles. At the same time.

And somehow, I caught it.

Local friends — I’m looking for recommendations!

I’m hoping to find someone who can give my family of five a few dance lessons to help us prepare for a very special upcoming event.

Fair warning: we’re a pretty clumsy bunch, so we’re definitely not looking to become professional dancers. We just need someone patient who can help us feel a little more confident and coordinated on the dance floor!

I do have an open space available for us to practice, so we can host the lessons if that makes things easier.

I’m absolutely happy to pay for lessons. But if you happen to be interested in trading services instead, I’d be open to working something out for photography — headshots, a family session, etc.

If you teach dance, know someone who does, or have a recommendation, send them my way!

Designed especially for babies 7–12 weeks old, Hello Baby features a clean, minimal aesthetic with bright white backdrops, carefully curated wardrobe, and a focus on your baby's bright eyes, sweet expressions, and growing personality.

To celebrate the launch, I'm now accepting applications for Hello Baby Portfolio Sessions.

These special introductory sessions are helping me build the portfolio for this new experience and are available for just $99.

Your Portfolio Session Includes:
• 30–45 minute studio session
• 3 professionally edited digital images
• Opportunity to purchase additional images
• Photographer-selected styling

Because these are portfolio sessions, participants must agree to allow images from the session to be used in my portfolio and future marketing.

Guess what?
My very own baby (my oldest) is getting married!!!!!!

If you're one of my regular clients and you've seen me at all this year, this isn't a surprise as I'm just so excited I can't help but share.
