What a huge honor this was to be asked to be apart of the Hometown Heroes series by Germania Insurance. The individuals included in this group are all so amazing in different ways.

My part features our youth beach clean up group I organize- the Sea Pines Beach Clean Up Crew- who are the true heroes of this story 🫶🫶

I like to find interesting shells on my morning beach walk & then use them to leave greetings for others to enjoy or take if they wish 🐚

Why are these so interesting to watch?
Maybe it’s because they are little crustaceans that grow their own shells and feed themselves by waving around a bunch of tiny legs 🐚😳 Nature is wild!
