The Shaw family came to me with a vision for their maternity session, and it was such a fun one to bring to life. They wanted to incorporate a paint session so their boys could truly be themselves, have fun, and create genuine interactions that would shine through in their photos. Honestly, what better way to capture a family than through the pure joy and wonder of childhood?

This sweet family is getting ready to welcome their third baby boy! As a fellow boy mom, I can already relate to the endless energy, the adventures, the laughter, and yes, all that testosterone the runs through the house. But let’s be honest, us moms will always be the queens of the castle. 😊

It was such a joy capturing this season of anticipation for the Shaw family. Here’s to a beautiful family, a growing bond between brothers, and the precious gift of new life. Your little boy is already so loved, and I cannot wait for this next chapter to begin for you all. 💛✨

So excited to share a recent collaboration showcasing a beautiful new venue coming soon to Corsicana! ✨

I photographed a mock-up of how the space can be transformed for weddings, showers, parties, corporate events, and more. The venue features gorgeous natural light from its large windows, a beautiful kitchen, a long bar for beverages and cocktails, and endless possibilities for creating memorable events.

Headshots under an underpass? Sounds a little unconventional, right?

But honestly, it's a pretty practical location for the work we do at The Human Impact, which is where I spend my weekdays when I'm not behind the camera serving my photography clients.
One of my favorite parts of my role is getting to photograph our staff, document the work happening on the streets, and capture events.

As for these headshots, they’re a good reminder that a great photo isn't about having the "perfect" location. It's about good light, the right angles, and helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Most people would never guess what was surrounding us when these photos were taken. That's the fun part of photography. Sometimes the most unexpected locations create the best images.

My heart is so full after this session. ✨

Being trusted to photograph my childhood best friend’s family in the place they call home was such an incredible honor. There’s something so special about capturing a family where they’re most comfortable, where the laughter is genuine, the memories are being made, and everyone can simply be themselves.

The kids were an absolute joy to photograph. They proudly showed me their rooms, shared their little worlds with me, and spent the evening running, and playing!

And can we talk about their backyard for a second? They have a legitimate playground back there! I was honestly blown away. The amount of adventure, imagination, and fun these kids get to experience every day is amazing. I’m pretty sure they feel like they live in heaven with all the opportunities they have to explore and play right at home. 🥹

Getting to document this beautiful family and these sweet everyday moments was such a gift. Thank you for trusting me to preserve a little piece of your story. 📸💕
