I recently had the opportunity to participate in a photography shootout with Skye Edmonds of Work of Heart photography, an experience that was both unexpected and rewarding. Approximately 15 years ago, I stumbled upon her work on Pinterest and have since been captivated by her unique style, which masterfully combines clothing, hair, makeup, florals, crowns with Time peices resembling the past.

The venues she chooses are equally breathtaking. Although I have never been able to afford her workshops, fortune smiled upon me, and she organized an event in New Orleans at a venue that has long been on my wish list. I confess that I embarked on this experience with some uncertainty, but it ultimately proved to be a fascinating and educational experience. After dedicating the past month to refining the images, I am thrilled to share my favorites with everyone. I am also eager to incorporate the lessons I learned during this shootout into my future photography projects.
