A trip to the magical city of New Orleans calls for an engagement session. It always blows my mind when couples find me in of a sea of amazing photographers and think, "yes that is our photographer". Absolutely humbling, truly a feeling that never gets old.

Each couple is so unique and different. I could give the same prompts to 10 different couples and will always end up with 10 very different outcomes and images. Each couple is so unique and I know, I know I say it all the time, but SERIOUSLY yall, HOW LUCKY AM I?! I love this work and the path I chose. Exactly where I am ment to be, capturing love. Swoon.

Some gatherings just have a softness to them. Gentle conversation, full hearts, flowers spilling from every corner of the home, fitting for a mom-to-be who happens to be a florist.

Lindsay created such a beautiful space for family and friends to gather in celebration of sweet Jude’s soon arrival.

Events like this fill my cup. The quiet in-between moments, the laughter echoing through a home, the way love shows up so naturally when people come together for someone they care about. Lindsay + Paul are already so deeply surrounded by community, and there was no shortage of excitement for this next chapter waiting on them.

Always thankful to be invited into people’s homes and lives in seasons like these , to preserve not just how it looked, but how it felt.

This was a fun first, PROM! In the past when I've been asked I was always booked, but the stars aligned this year with these two SSA ladies. Reagan and Sophie ended up being the only two left standing for the pre dance camera moment and I am so glad.

They stepped in without overthinking—no pressure, no pretending, just a natural rhythm between them. The kind of connection that doesn’t need direction, it just is. You don’t have to force or direct, it just exists.

I say this to every couple, and I mean it: there is no “right” version of you that needs to show up for your session or your wedding day. You don’t need to perform, pose perfectly, or be anything other than who you already are.

Let go of what you think you should be in front of the camera. Be present, be real, be a little messy if that’s what the moment calls for. That’s where the magic lives.

I promise, you won’t regret being seen exactly as you are.

Down a quiet stretch of bayou, in the coziest little cottage venue these two promised forever on a day already meant for love.

It wasn’t overdone or overthought, just honest, effortless, and full of feeling. Love that shows up in the in-between moments… in the way they lean into each other, in the way nothing else seems to matter.
