Years ago on a whim I created Southern Hippie Photography. I was at work at a job that was decent but not what I wanted to do. I’ve always loved doing pictures & that night I decided to just make the jump.

Had a great time taking photos for Hinton Outfitters for the Miss Possum Pageant 2026!

You all were super kind and welcoming and made it a truly memorable event. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for the pageant.

Congrats to Donna Speiden Palmore for being crowned Miss Possum 26’! All of the contestants were a pleasure to meet and were all extremely talented.

Congrats to miss Donna AKA Dee, our winner of the miss possum pageant! 👑

I feel beyond blessed that I had the opportunity to shoot for this amazing, off the walls crazy event. All of the contestants were so unique & talented in their own ways I’m so glad we didn’t have to judge because I wouldn’t have been able to pick a winner 🥇

I’m grateful that the awesome kind ladies at Hinton Outfitters took a chance on our small business even though we aren’t as ‘big’ as most around the area. It was such a blast & I’ll tell you now, if you missed out this year I’d be grabbing the tickets next year ASAP because you really missed out if you didn’t get to attend.

I felt beyond blessed to be able to capture these sweet reveal photos. These 2 were full of love for each other & their precious babygirl & will truly be great parents! Also, peep the geese that were terrorizing us 🫠
