Some love stories find you after you’ve already lived a whole lot of life. 🤍
Al & Nadia’s story is one of those.
They each came into their relationship with their own adventures, their own stories, and two kiddos, a boy and a girl each, who just happen to be the same ages. I mean… what are the chances?!
When it came time to get married, they made a sunrise elopement in Crested Butte one of the stops on an epic road trip through Colorado.
We started before the rest of the valley was awake with a first look in Gothic Valley, and the look on Al’s face when he turned around and saw Nadia in her dress was EVERYTHING. 🥹
From there, we spent the morning wandering through Gothic Valley, soaking up that quiet early morning light, and eventually made our way up to Emerald Lake for a ch*****ne toast and, arguably the best elopement decision ever, cake for breakfast. 🍰🥂
Just the two of them, a whole morning to explore, and some of my favorite places in the valley.
This is what I love so much about eloping in Crested Butte. Your wedding day can be whatever the heck you want it to be. It can be part of a bigger adventure. It can start before sunrise. It can involve dirt roads, ch*****ne by an alpine lake, and absolutely, positively, cake for breakfast.
Al & Nadia, what a freaking joy it was adventuring through the mountains with you two. 🤍
