This session meant more to me than most. The family I photographed shares a connection with me beyond the camera — our children attend the same therapy center, and as a fellow special-needs mom, I deeply understand the journey they’re on.

There’s a unique closeness among moms raising children with disabilities — a quiet strength, an unspoken understanding, and a powerful sense of community. It’s something I’m honored to be part of and honored to support through my work.

I tend to add a lot of pictures to my post because I've always had a hard time culling them down. I become emotionally attached them and with this wedding it was no different. Carrie and Brad were so happy in love that it just makes you fall in love with them too. They were a dream couple to work with and I hope I can photograph them again one day! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to them and Blessings for a long and wonderful marriage.

Was this snow in the Florida Panhandle fun or WHAT??!!! Seriously, such an amazing experience to be a part of. The fact that my son is named Enzo, just like this magical snow storm that is going to be a memory not soon forgotten is pretty cool. Sad that it's coming to an end, but it will be a reminder not to let opportunities like this go to waste. I'm praying for those of you that were impacted negatively by this unforeseen event. That being said, I decide to document some of my favorite images of our family life during this interesting time by making a slideshow.
