2026 ANTIOCH METHODIST HOMECOMING
Former members, friends and relatives of Antioch Methodist Church, Crouse, N.C. are invited to the annual homecoming on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Antioch closed almost 60 years ago but each year many come back to the little country church located off of Hwy. 150 in Crouse. Some people might not know about Antioch Church in Crouse, NC which sets just far enough off Highway 150 that it's not visible. The church and cemetery dates back to 1805. It is only used for funerals, special occasions, and a yearly Homecoming.
Guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service this year has not yet been determined.
Bring a well-packed picnic basket to share in the arbor following the worship service.
A business session will follow lunch at approximately 1:30-2:00 p.m. During the Worship Service a special love offering for the Building and Cemetery Fund will be taken or if you can’t be there you can mail your

What's Happening Around Crouse???
Facebook notice of upcoming CFD Annual Meeting. Notice of this meeting is to be published, "Notice of the annual meeting shall be published in the newspaper having general circulation in the community at least five (5) days before the annual meeting...." a per the CFD bylaws. The newspaper of record for this district is The Lincoln Times-News. Publication of this allows taxpayer residents of the Crouse Fire District, who are not on Facebook or who do not drive through Crouse, to be aware of the Annual Meeting. This meeting is open to the public and all resident taxpayers of the Crouse Fire District are urged to attend!!!

It's Thursday and we are back on schedule for the 24th weekly installment of "Did You Know? 250 Years, Celebrating One Community", enjoy.
The US Semiquincentennial – the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 – is in the past but the Crouse Community History & Photo Project is proud to announce the continuation of its very popular, "Did You Know?" series. This engaging weekly initiative will continue to spotlight fascinating historical events, figures, and milestones from the Crouse community's rich 250+ year history, drawing from a vast archive of information and photographs collected over the past 13 years. Designed to educate, inspire, and unite residents, the program invites everyone in Lincoln County and beyond to rediscover the local roots that intertwine with the nation's founding story.
