Just putting out a little feeler… Would anyone be interested if I hosted a 1 day only of Christmas Mini Sessions this year? 🎅🏻

I’m looking at tentative date of November 14th for an indoor Christmas setup.

The backdrop I would use for this year will be posted in the Comments Thread under this post (Minus my photography watermarking that is currently placed over the image).

Session Details:
• 10-minute session
• 5 digital images received via downloadable gallery link
• $65 for the 10 minute session + 5 digital images
• Location: Proctorville, OH

I’d need to get a rough headcount of those interested before committing since I’ll have to reserve a space for the day which is also a financial investment for me as well. If I move forward, a nonrefundable deposit of the full session amount of $65 will be required to hold your spot.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, let me know below. Just trying to see if there’s enough interest before I decide if I will move forward or not.

This would likely be the only Christmas sessions I would do for this year (or that I can accommodate - private bookings and/or mini sessions) as my Christmas season is looking to be extra busy this year 🙂

I decided to take my camera along with me this weekend on my drive to visit my Mamaw in Maysville, Kentucky. ❤️

I’ve traveled these roads to Mamaw’s more times than I could ever count, and no matter how many times I make the drive, I still find myself looking out the window at all the beauty along the way.

The rolling hills. The old barns. The farmland stretching out in the distance. Little country churches, weathered fences, cattle grazing in the fields…just those simple glimpses of rural America that feel so familiar to me. 🇺🇸

Maybe it’s the Appalachian girl in me, but there’s something about these places that just feels like home. They remind me of where I come from, of my grandparents and of a simpler kind of beauty that I think we sometimes get too busy to notice.

For years I’ve driven past scenes like this and thought, “I need to bring my camera one day.”

So this weekend, I did. 📷❤️

And I photographed a few of the things along the way that just felt good to my soul.

Nothing fancy. Just country roads, farmland, and little pieces of America that I hope never change.

Happy Labor Day ❤️

I decided to take my camera this weekend as I went to visit my Mamaw in rural KY, in a beautiful older town called Maysville and capture some pictures that just felt good to my soul 🙂

I love the scenery, beautiful farms, and just glimpses of rural America I always see driving to my Mamaw's house and have always wanted to photograph some glimpses of it along the way. The beauty that I always see ❤️

📸 FRIENDLY GALLERY REMINDER FOR PAST PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENTS! 🩷

If you’ve had a photography session with me within the past 6 months, please take a minute this weekend to make sure you have your gallery downloaded and your images safely backed up! ❤️

Formal dance photography season is officially starting, which means I’m going through my gallery delivery site and clearing out older galleries to make room for all of the new sessions coming in. Since I pay for a designated amount of storage through the site I use for my little photography business, I unfortunately can’t keep galleries stored there indefinitely.

All clients are given a gallery expiration date when their images are delivered, so hopefully everyone already has their photos downloaded. 😊 However, as a courtesy, I wanted to give everyone one final reminder before I start deleting a large number of galleries today and tomorrow.

⚠️ Once a gallery is deleted from my delivery site, it is gone on my end as well and I’ll be unable to recover those images for you.

I plan to have most galleries from sessions photographed within the past 6 months cleared from the site by the end of this weekend, so please double-check that you have downloaded and backed up anything you want to keep. Sessions longer than 6 months ago were already deleted as prior notifications were given of this timeline on my photography page months ago as well.

Singles , couples or friend groups welcome! 💚

The $65 session includes 10 images total. If a couple splits the session cost, the included images will be split as well — 5 images per person. Additional images can always be purchased à la carte for an additional fee ❤️

Want pictures with your HOCO friend crew?

I can absolutely accommodate friend-group photos! If you’re wanting several group shots in addition to your individual/couple pictures, I recommend booking an additional 15-minute slot for the group so we have plenty of time and nobody has to sacrifice their own portraits.

⏰ Please arrive on time! These are quick sessions booked back-to-back, so unfortunately I won’t be able to add extra time for late arrivals.

💳 Full payment is required at booking to officially reserve your time slot.
