Let's talk about protesting. It's a hot topic right now while we watch cities around the United States protest and fight for their neighbors. It can most definitely look scary but honestly, it is only scary when state funded violence occurs like ICE, military & cops VS American citizens - the very taxpayers who fund them.

But I do want to remind you that a lot of protests are just your neighbors, your co workers, your friends trying to make a better world for not just themselves but everyone around them. They are great places to meet friends, learn more about how we got here and what we can do to fight it. I see so many people talk, smile, laugh and joke. Just being human with the community that surrounds them.

Protests make you feel connected to your community. It shows you that you're not alone and reminds you of your humanity that a lot of us have forgotten. If you have never been to a protest I suggest you go to just one of them. See for yourself. The people United will never be defeated - remember that.

Your community cares about you. Not this government.

1.27.2026 - Justice for Alex Pretti

Alex Pretti’s parents remember him as a kindhearted soul who cared deeply about the people around him. They say he wanted to make a difference in the world, whether helping veterans as an ICU nurse or standing up for the things he believed in. Friends and family remember him as someone who always looked out for others, shown in the last thing he said: “are you okay.”

1.24.2026 - ICE out of Jax

Renee Good, was shot in the face by ICE in front of her wife. Her last words were "that's fine dude, I'm not mad at you". The ICE agents? "Fu***ng bitch". She was an American citizen.

Liam Ramos, a 5 year old, was used as bait to lure out family members. After that, he was taken to a detention center in Texas. Liam and his family are originally from Ecuador and presented themselves to border officers in Texas in December 2024 to apply for asylum. They were following all the established protocols, pursuing their claim for asylum, showing up for their court hearings, and posed no safety, no flight risk and never should have been detained.

Alex Pretti, was executed. While he was filming ICE pushed a woman. Alex put himself between ICE and the woman. He lifted his left arm to shield himself from pepper spray that the ICE agent sprayed. Several agents then take ‍hold of Pretti – who struggles with them – and force him onto his hands and knees. As the agents pin down Pretti, someone shouts what sounds like a warning about the presence of a gun. Video footage then appears to show one of the agents removing a gun from Pretti and stepping away from the group with it.Moments later, an officer points his handgun at Pretti’s back and fires four shots at him in quick succession. Several more shots ‍are then heard as another agent also appears to fire at Pretti. Minneapolis police chief Brian O’Hara later said Pretti was a lawful gun owner with no criminal record other than traffic violations. He was an American Citizen that was a Veteran Affair ICU nurse and a legal observer.

I can't believe I forgot to share this one—my last wedding, and honestly, it deserves the spotlight.

The emotion on this day? It cracked me wide open. I found myself tearing up behind the camera more than once.

Every look, every vow, every small, quiet moment felt sacred. You could literally feel the love between them.

If this is the last wedding I ever shoot, I’m glad it was this one.
tetherball & .tattoo thank you for trusting me with your story.

There’s something about a mermaid show that reaches far beyond the surface—it’s not just for little girls in awe of the shimmering tails and graceful movements. It’s for women, too.

As I watched, I felt something stir deep inside me—something I hadn’t realized had gone quiet over the years. That show wasn’t just beautiful; it reminded me of the magic we’ve tucked away, the part of ourselves we dimmed to fit into a world that often feels too heavy.

The women around me cried, and so did I. It wasn’t just the beauty of it; it was what it meant. It was freedom, wonder, strength—everything we lose track of when life pulls us in every direction. For that moment, we all remembered what it feels like to believe in something bigger, in something that sparks joy for no reason other than existing.

Mermaids remind us of the parts of ourselves we forget but need the most: courage, curiosity, and the permission to dream. Watching them brought me back to myself, and I think we all need that kind of magic more than we realize.

Capturing Love in All Its Forms 💍✨

Some moments remind us how limitless love truly is. I had the incredible honor of photographing a polyamorous couple as two of them said, “I do,” while their third partner officiated the ceremony.

What struck me the most wasn’t just the beauty of the vows exchanged—it was the pure joy and love radiating from the third partner as they stood there, uniting the people they hold so dear. Their gaze wasn’t just one of pride; it was a testament to the depth of connection and shared happiness that defines their relationship.

This was more than a wedding—it was a celebration of partnership, trust, and the incredible ways love expands to include all who are cherished. 🌿💞

To be trusted with moments like this is why I do what I do. Thank you to this beautiful triad for letting me be part of your story. ❤️

“I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all the ages of this world alone.”

This wedding was everything. It had all my favorite things rolled into one magical day: love, cosplayers, fantasy vibes, gorgeous nature, and best of all, my beautiful LGBTQ+ community! 🥹

As a theybie, there’s nothing more heartwarming than seeing people unapologetically live their truth, marry their person, and radiate pure joy. This is why I do what I do—capturing these moments that celebrate love in all its forms.
