Oh the beautiful, small, yet deep details 🤍 …on this edition of - hands tell a story. This is my daughter’s hand when she was 3 weeks old. I shot with a 100 mm lens that I rented. Which I LOVE! Macro shots just speak to me.

Grandma and her grandbaby. Hands tell a story. ALWAYS! You will see me get distracted by this because it’s little fleeting moments. He was playing with her bracelets as we were setting up. It caught my eye. I love little teeny tiny details like this. And black and white just makes the emotions of this photo go deeper. 🥺🤍

For those new here…

A little introduction time! 🙋🏼‍♀️ This is my family and I. These beautiful humans right here are MY WHY.

My name is Kasi. Pronounced kay-see. My momma was creative with the spelling and I love her for it.

GA born-FL raised

I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad. God rest his soul 💙

My photography journey started with film in high school.

I am an avid plant collector. 🪴 During the summer it takes me almost two hours to water them all. Lol

I played softball my entire childhood. I also was on a cheer and dance team.

I love to cook and recently got into baking. It’s therapeutic to me.

My obsession is FRIENDS.💜 It’s got me through some dark times. My comfort show.

Tacos and sushi. SAY NO MORE! 🙌🏼

I am a dog mom to my girl Coco. She’s my fourth child.

The ocean is so fascinating to me. I wish I could live right on the beach in a Cracker Jack box. I’d be content.

I had my first baby (Braydon) at the tender age of 19. And then my second (Landon) at 21. And my third and final baby (Delaney) came along at 34. It’s been a transition for our house hold for sure. But we wouldn’t have it any other way! She completes our family! 🩵

Approaching 35 I am in this era of life where I enjoy slowing things down and being at home with my family. Truthfully, Ive been a hermit crab for quite sometime. I proclaim myself at an extroverted invert. I feel this deeply. 😆

“Look over your shoulder, now look at me, now give me “smize.” (Smiling but with your eyes) Tyra Banks from Americas Next Top Model taught me that. Who remembers that show? Lol My prompts and physically showing my hs seniors how to pose is key to having a awesome session. I can thank Tyra for her enthusiasm and showing us way back when on how to pose. 💁🏼‍♀️

Momma we need to talk…

If you’re a mom who has not had a photo session because you’re worried how your child will be. Im here to tell you, DON'T! Easier said but I’ll tell you my reasoning. However the mood of your child when we are together, I will play right along. Get down on their level. They may not be at their greatest mood when they see me. I’m a stranger after all. And that’s OK! It’s a luck of the draw in all honesty how they will be! We like to have an idea of how they will act but as children are...they can throw us off course. I have had moms tell me “he/she was perfect and happy all day today!” Only for their child to be in a not-so-great mood for the session. In my 12 years of photographing children I can tell you, the WORST thing you can do is get upset with them for being upset or not looking at me. It only adds more stress to the entire situation. Giving them time is all you need, most of the time. Time to get them comfortable. Time for them to get to know me. Time for them to acclimate to where we are. I tell moms it’s either the FIRST 15 minutes OR the LAST 15 minutes where kids are the happiest!

I will go on to say that one of the best tools to use as a parent...Bribery! I am all for it! Give them fruit snacks, or telling them that "We'll go get ice cream afterwards if you are good!" With that being said something new I will be offering for my Family's with small children is a treasure box they can pick out of at the end of the session. This will make them so happy and I think will give them a great experience with getting photos taken. So when you book for an hour session with me try your best to not stress or worry mom. I got this! I will get moments of your children however they are and do my best to make your images cherishing!
