hi my sweet people!
I won’t make you look back to see that it’s been a little over a year since you last heard from me on this page. 13 months I could’ve never imagined. These months have held moments that have changed so much about me. Pregnancy was not kind to me to keep it brief, and in the middle of it all I lost my best friend in the entire world, my precious sister. Physical challenges met with emotions I’d never known how to process — still don’t.
There will never be a day that I “get back to normal.” Motherhood, grief, so many things have changed me. And as crazy as it sounds for a photographer to say — I was never the person to grab the phone and take a photo, it was usually Mallory who paused to capture a memory. I try to find those moments now. You just truly never know what this life holds, so I want to remember all the little moments even when they don’t look picture perfect.
Amongst so much change, I realize there is still joy in partnering with others through my photography. I look forward to capturing moments and creating lasting memories. I’ve had some precious sessions and weddings this last year, and I’m excited for things coming up. I hope to share more with you soon!
