Behind the Scenes & Life Update 🤍
​Well, today didn’t quite go as planned! 😅
​I went in for my nose Mohs procedure this morning, fully braced for it—anxiety through the roof, mental preparation done, and ready to get it behind me so I could get back to doing what I love. But after looking at everything, the doctor decided it’s best to postpone it again.
​Because the spot is right on the rim of my nose and we don't know how many layers will be needed, he wants to be extra safe and coordinate with a plastic surgeon to perform the closure the following day.
​While I’m truly grateful he’s taking every precaution for the best possible outcome, I’ll be honest... I felt pretty defeated leaving today. Working up the courage, walking through the door, and then having to pack it all up, reschedule life (and sessions!), and wait all over again is so mentally draining.
​To my amazing clients: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your grace, patience, and sweet messages as I navigate shifting dates around! I’m so ready to get this chapter closed and get back behind the camera full force. I’ll keep everyone updated once the new schedule is set in stone! Hugs to you all. ❤️

Did you know those tiny, fresh newborn details change in the blink of an eye? I love coming directly to your hospital room to capture those fleeting first moments with professional, posed studio styling.

However, I don’t always automatically show up while you are in the hospital!

To ensure I am able to visit during your stay, you will need to reach out directly to schedule a session.

Depending on which hospital you deliver at, here is exactly what to look for in your postpartum room:

*Madison Hospital or Helen Keller Hospital:Look for thesmall, bright teal QR code card placed right next to your patient whiteboard, as shown in image below.

*Cullman Regional Medical Center: Look for the framed "BABY" poster hanging on the wall next to the patient whiteboard, as shown in image below.

* Crestwood Medical Center: Look for the framed "BABY" poster mounted right next to your care plan board, as shown in image below.

📱 How to Schedule:
1. Scan the *QR code*on the card or framed poster in your room.
2. Text the number listed on it as soon as possible to secure your session time before your discharge day!

​When a parent requests an image with Dad's deer head, we are always happy to oblige with some studio magic to make it happen!

​Sweet baby was photographed completely flat, cozy, and 100% safe on a secure surface.

​Dad as my amazing assistant held the mount to get the fabric tension just right.

​A little sprinkle of Photoshop magic brought the two worlds together!
​In my studio, a baby's safety is always the absolute priority. No newborns are ever suspended in mid-air, hung from props, or placed in risky positions—everything you see is a carefully planned digital composite!
