The Night Before, it’s always buzzing with anticipation & excitement. It’s like Christmas Eve as a little kid, you can’t wait for the morning and all the joy it brings ✨ When it comes to your rehearsal dinner here are some tips to really ensure it’s documented perfectly for heirloom sake:
-Invest in a , their video & cameras are my number one suggestion to ALL my couples for a nostalgic take on their day. Pass it around and get the most sentimental BTS moments captured by people you love most. MUST have: a recorded message from parents & grandparents for future generations to see where the love began and grew.
-Disposable Cameras (& carry them into the wedding day) these are SO GOOD. Film is truly the most sentimental way of preserving your day and bringing that “home” feeling. Plus the outtakes are pretty great…because film can be unpredictable in the best way!
-Handwritten speeches, in an era of digital-it’s time we get back to the basics. Have your VIP’s write their speeches (even if it’s on a napkin) & KEEP them. These tangible keepsakes are worth holding unto.
-Wedding Capsule. This is truly my favorite, it doesn’t have to be an expensive trunk or ornate box-just something that will preserve the day. You can keep your vows, favors, pictures, speeches and anything else important tucked away. Every Milestone anniversary open it up and re-live your best day…
-Heirloom Scent. This is another great way to preserve the day emotionally and mentally. Scent is the most powerful way to trigger a memory, so choose a perfume & cologne unique to your wedding day and only wear it on anniversaries.
There are so many great ways to document & preserve this beautiful chapter in your story, choose whatever fits best for YOU and make it your own-just remember to keep the memories.
