๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Denali National Park / Alaska

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

This amazing location is located in the Denali National Park.

This is a remote location in the park that you can only access through a bus tour. Private vehicles are not allowed to drive this far into the park. Luckily, the bus stops multiple times along the route so find the spot with the perfect angle and capture that scene.

1. Get your tour tickets early. They are mostly sold of the day of the tour and you wouldnโ€™t want to miss out.
2. Be bear aware! You will be in bear country
3. Donโ€™t forget your snacks and drinks! You are allowed to snack on the bus. You will get hungry as itโ€™s a 6 hour tour.
5. Get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ

As always, the scene was worth the trek!

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

This amazing location is located in the Banff National Park.

From the parking lot, follow the path down to the lake and you can hike as much or as little as you like. Find the spot with the perfect angle and capture that scene.

1. Get there early! Parking is very limited and closes early. We wanted to get โ€œthereโ€ at sunrise.
2. Be bear aware! You will be in bear country
3. Donโ€™t forget your coat because itโ€™s still freezing in the morning

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

This amazing location is located in the Grand Teton National Park. Itโ€™s located off U.S. Route 26/89 and you can find it 5 miles north of the main entrance into the park.

From the parking lot, follow the path down to Snake River and you can capture this scene. Itโ€™s a really short hike so not a lot of gear is needed.

1. Get there early! Parking is very limited. We wanted to get โ€œthereโ€ at sunrise.
2. Sunrise is around 5:30AM in June!
3. Donโ€™t forget your coat because itโ€™s still freezing in the morning

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Smith Rock State Rock / Oregon / USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

From the parking lot, we took Canyon Trail down to the bridge to cross the river. After crossing the bridge, we began the upward journey on the Misery Ridge Trail. And trust us, it was miserable (just imagine literally hiking a mile UP!).

Navigating switchbacks, being on a literal ridge - inches from the edge -

We soaked up 360 degree views once we make it to the top and then journeyed back down the Mesa Verde Trail with steep switchbacks until we were back river-level. When we reached the river (you guessed it!) we merged onto the River Trail before making our way to the base of the rock back to the bridge we started at as we began the loop.

1. Get there early! Parking is very limited. We wanted to get โ€œthereโ€ at sunrise.
2. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and hiking poles.
3. Bring your climbing gear. Itโ€™s a climbers paradise here
5. Get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Ruby Beach / Olympic National Park / Washington / USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

From Forks head South on Highway 101 for 35 minutes and turn right on Ruby Beach Rd. You will be able to park and use the bathroom before making the mile trek down to the beach.

1. Bring warm clothes! We went in June and it was pretty chilly!
2. If you want a romantic beach fire, bring your wood. Lots of places sell it on the way. The beach wood wonโ€™t catch fire.
3. This spot can be busy and the parking lot can get full. Get there early.
4. Itโ€™s often foggy here. Donโ€™t believe everything you see on Instagram. We couldnโ€™t even see the sea stacks the day we went.
5. Get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Flagstaff Mountain / Boulder / Colorado/ USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

From Boulder head out on Baseline Rd. Turn right onto Flagstaff Rd and continue on switchbacks for 3 miles. Turn right onto Flagstaff Summit Road and you will see a parking lot shortly after. Make sure to pay the $5 fee and youโ€™re ready to go! Take a quick walk to Artist Point and you have arrived.

1. Bring warm clothes! Itโ€™s cold on the mountain at sunset
2. There are rocks to climb on so wear sturdy hiking boots
3. This spot can be busy and the parking lot can get full. Bring a picnic dinner and spend a few hours here
4. Get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Crater Lake / Oregon / USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:
We love Oregon and donโ€™t miss a chance to visit a National Park. If youโ€™re ever in Oregon, put this National Park on your bucket list! In the Fall/Spring you will want to bring your snow shoes and warm clothes. In the summer donโ€™t forget your bathing suit because you can jump in to that crystal clear blue lake.

1. Check the road conditions. In the winter, a lot of roads can be closed. In the summer, forest fires can also cause disruptions
2. Check the timing of sunrise and sunset.
3. Use the info from steps 1 and 2 to determine the best day for your visit.
4. Drive around the lake leaving plenty of time to take pictures at all the turnouts
5. Explore the Visitor Center, grab a bite to eat and then take a hike to get a different viewpoint of the lake
6. In the summer, hike down to the lake and jump on in

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Peter Skene Ogden State Park / Oregon / USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:

Talk about an easy Trek! This amazing spot is directly off the main road. We stopped in to the rest area and were mesmerized by the view! Beware, there are signs all over about dog safety. Basically, keep your dogs in the car! Clearly from the picture you can see there is a major drop. Apparently, dogs have chased birds off the ledge frequently enough for the park to be filled with warning signs. There is plenty of room to have a nice picnic - so make a meal of the space!

1. Park the car.
2. Walk a few hundred feet.

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Jupiter Beach / Florida / USA

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:
We love the beach. It doesnโ€™t matter what time of year it is, a beach trip is always worth it. Honestly, *cool weather* beach trips may be even better than summer visits. Thereโ€™s just no need for sunscreen when you have a hoodie and hat on! Kicking off the new year, we were craving some outdoor magic and decided to venture down to Jupiter - the beach town, not the planet.

1 Check the tide charts. At low tide, magical *things* suddenly appear (like the gem in the photo above).
2. Check the timing of sunrise and sunset.
3. Use the info from steps 1 and 2 to determine the best day for your visit.
4. Head over to the beach - and be ready to circle to find one of those precious parking spots.
5. Explore up and down the coastline and soak up to ocean breeze.
6. Get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“Œ About the Scene:
Scenic Byway 128 / Moab / Utah

๐Ÿ” About the Trek to the Scene:
Do you prefer to take charge and take the wheel? Or, are you more of a shotgun rider? Either way Scenic Byway 128 just north of Moab is filled with amazing views. During the 45 mile long road, you can even see the Colorado River! If it works for your travel plans, we totally recommend venturing along the byway at sunset because the rocks glow red - pretty magical experience. And, perk - you can even visit Arches National Park along the way.

1. Gas up the car and pack the cooler.
2. Enjoy the views
3. When itโ€™s safe, get the gear ready to capture the scene ๐Ÿ“ธ
