One of my favorite things might be one of your biggest concerns! Location is more important than anything in all of photography, but specifically in headshots. Location tells a story just as much as how you style yourself for your headshots... here are some of my favorites.
- a small town mainstreet for a cozy backdrop
- a park for a more natural backdrop
- a city building for a more modern backdrop

I'm starting a new series that will display the coziest vignettes that you ever did see. Places you want to sit and enjoy your surroundings or visit and snap a couple of pictures with your family. And of course, I'm starting with one of my favorite things to do... Discover the tranquility at the Biltmore Estate Garden. This little gate can be found near the Conservatory. It has a massive tree in front which keeps it shady and cool(er). 🌸🌿

Ohhhh, my old friend July… We have a love/hate relationship, don’t we? I LOVE pool days and fireworks but I can’t say I’m a fan of heat and humidity. However, July is a great time to daydream of fall family sessions. From the cooler temps to capturing a moment in time, it’s a love fest all around! Raise your hand (or comment below) if you’ve ever tried making sourdough bread. It became quite popular during quarantine, and hasn't lost steam! I haven't jumped on the bandwagon (at least not yet). I’ve also heard that mini sessions are pretty popular. This fall, I'm working on a plan for setting up a few days of minis, and I'm hoping it will be the best thing since sliced sourdough bread! Use your angles! Specifically in the subjects body! Swipe to compare the first and second photo.. the second is a good photos, but the angles in the arm and the legs draw the eye to her natural feminine shape, and draws you more into the photo.
